Hi, So basically my backspace and enter keys do not work. I didn't spill anything on them, i took all the keys off and cleaned up what i could, ive re installed/uninstalled/updated all the razer drivers and still nothing. When i spam my enter key to try make it work, "XCV4\]\'
XCV4\XCV4XCVXCV4\XCVXCV4\]XCV4\XCV4\XCVXXCV4\]\'" <-- It writes that continuously until I hit another key. The backspace key does something similar with a combination of alt, f11, shift, and 'o' all together. Please help me this is extremely frustrating. (I wrote all this on with no backspace had to use delete and numenter so excuse any spelling mistakes etc) I've had the keyboard for over a year and never had a problem till now and I live in Australia and couldn't find Razer support phone number for Australia either. Also first time posting,go easy :D Thanks in advance ..

If you are outside of warranty and you are comfortable with it I guess try tear the keyboard apart and look for something broken.
Or put a post up on r/MechanicalKeyboards or one of the other keyboard sites (deskthority, geekhack, OCN). See if someone else has a clue what happened.
I had a similar problem with my Blackwidow, pretty much exactly as you describe it, but happening with even more keys iirc. My problem started when I spilled some coffe on it, and I thought it was completely fucked up so I went ahead and bought a new keyboard. But when I came back to try it a few days later(just in-case) it worked. No clue why this happened though, but as other people suggested; try cleaning it up, and leave it unplugged for a day or something, sounds weird, but who knows.
Same story as CojL. Spilled a little bit of water on it, and a few keys behaved weird (exactly like you) for a few hours, and then it went back to normal.
This sort of happened to me. I had a conversation with my fiance over skype about a breaking bad episode, and then suddenly, it started repeating it back to me some time later, usually in the middle of a starcraft match. It was kind of frustrating, having my marines stim, and then a second or two later, stop (because I had the number 2 in the conversation, moments later t and then s.). For unrelated reasons, I did a clean install of the OS and haven't had that problem since. Yesterday, I had an issue where the m key wouldn't work. I ended up unplugging it and plugging it back in and it worked again.
Ok guys i've fixed it, though its not really a fix that you would find very repeatable. After many many many attempts to fix by unplugging/ replugging, installing/ uninstalling software and whatnot, eventually I just got too frustrated and used an old keyboard for a day. Today I plugged it back in, and what do you know? it works again -_-. Though funnily enough when searching through the web for many hours I found someone said that he left his unplugged for a week and it was working again for him, so however stupid this method may sound, it may actually for for all you others that have this problem. (And so apparently this worked for some of you guys too!! ) Thanks for all the responses!! TL community so reliable <3
hmm so i'm using it again but i'm gonna be pessimistic and think to myself its only a matter of time before it bugs out again.. I wasn't using it for about 4 days and apparently time heals this keyboard somehow.
Same thing, I spilled about 10 drops of beer on my key board; then my a button started to act up in the middle of a game. A few hours later everything went back to normal... yay?
Okay I really need help with this and not just wait it out, this is frustrating. I am trying to type words that I am able to instead of others being some of my keys aren't working (copy and pasting the letter c right there). I cant use these keys - x, c, v, close ( ] ) bracket, backslash (\), single quote ('), enter key, the number 6 on the number pad (on the right), and I think I literally have had my keyboard for 2 months. Why god why?!?!?! jk I'm very upset right now but since I am in warranty should I send it in and wait like freakin' 3 weeks to get it back or what. I dont have any key bindings with macros or anything... I dont even Synapse downloaded. They worked a few hours ago but only for a few moments then all the same keys would suddenly be assholes. Unplugging and replugging didn't work, leaving it alone while being unplugged didn't work either. This thread might be a little too old but I hope someone could help me out. $150 damn dollars to send it in for warranty after 2 months? Really?
I've had this happen a lot with my 2011-era Razer Crapwidow (Yes, I know. real mature, but that's the bleak truth. This thing has caused me more problems than is worth the cost.) I've tried things like updating drivers, ensuring I didn't record a 'macro on the fly', repair installs of Windows, cleaning the keyboard out rather regularly, unplugging/replugging and the problem is still hhappening.
This is the worst keyboard I've ever spent £80+ on. Whenever I bring this up against Razer in a comment online, any of their fanboys will just call me an idiot and either blame me for having a 'shoddy' motherboard or for not returning my purchase in the first place.
Also, why the actual, ever-living hell would you use ultra-loud Cherry MX Blue switches - which are suited specifically for typing - in a gaming keyboard?
Honestly, I'd rather use a cheap £5 membrane keyboard over anything manufactured by Razer after the problems I've experienced with the Blackwidow and their buggy Synapse 2.0 utility software/drivers. I've seen Creative audio drivers less bugged than Synapse...
I Bought the Blackwidow 2014 Ultimate and All The keys were Working for 3 months Perfect. Before 1 week I Opened my pc And The Keys: f , e didnt work I searched for videos, but nothing.I Uninstalled Synapse, Nothing Idont know what to do please HELP ME. I LOVE THIS MECHANICAL KEYBOARD
Same problem. Newbie here posting through my iPhone because it's easier. I first bought my blackwidow chroma 5 months ago and it was working fine until I built my new pc after not using it for over a month. The escape and tilde keys stopped working so in my case time actually broke my keyboard smh. Help me anyone this is extremely frustrating.
Hello guys i have an issue with my Razer blackwidow ... Milk splitted out all over my keyboard and some keys do not work now ... I let my keyboard rest for a week maybe but keys still not work could someone help me out ? :C
just a word of advice for anyone that ever spilled H²O based liquids on their keyboard: Unplug it imidiately and let it dry. If you don´t some of the water will find its way onto its circuitry and WILL cause some sort of partial meltdown. If you are lucky, this just causes some of the rather useless circuits to become unusable and if you r not your keyboard will continually sprout gibberish or won´t work at all.
Bro, I'm from Brazil, my english not very well but i fixed.
In this video he explain how reset (i think) the keyboards of razer.
I have a Razer Blackwidow tournment edition 2013 and i click ESC + CAPS, and word. i have this problem for 1 year, all keys was crazy and impossible to use.
