Hello! Apologies in advance for the noob question, but I'm a bit confused. After reading the various threads on how to configure my DeathAdder right (6/11, uncheck enhance pointer precision, use the registry fix turn off acceleration in the razer synapse software, etc.) I thought I had everything worked out.
However, while trying to learn up on how the console works, I came across this thread http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=337793
In which it happened to suggest that you need to add the following launch items -noforcemaccel -noforcemspd -useforcedmparms
or, as a more recent poster on the last page of that thread suggests, these:
-noforcemaccel > reverts to desktop mouse acceleration settings (more) -noforcemparms > reverts to desktop mouse button settings (more) -noforcemspd > uses desktop mouse speed settings (more)
None of the mouse threads I saw mentioned these or the need to tweak dota 2 at all - should I add these as well or am I good with what I've already done? Thanks again for any help!

Doesn't really matter in dota 2 tbh, they are more important in fps game like CS.

As gosi said, it makes little difference in Dota. I use the console commands and don't even see/feel any difference with my Steelseries Sensei. I know someone is going to jump on me now and scream about how wrong I am but my experience says that in fps games it matters a lot, in SC2 it makes a significant difference but in dota... I honestly didn't notice a thing.

When I made a smurf dota account I didn't have the -noforcemouse launch options put in and when I started a game I felt like my mouse was tripping out. I then promptly closed dota entered them and then my mouse felt normal again so I am not so sure they do "nothing." And for reference I'm on windows 7.

as long as you disable acceleration in razer synapse your are good to go. adjust in game sensitivity to your liking is all you need to do for all source games.
