A week or so I started getting mosaic artifacts. Usually they disappeared after a reboot, in safe mode etc. But at this point I am getting artifacts from the very moment I start my Pc, white/colored lines flimmering everywhere. I have tried cleaning/installing a variety of drivers, and my GPU temp never exceeds 40, nor does the rest of the system. So at this point I sort of concluded my graphics card, a GTX 570 ti is dying (after only 3 years!).
Now, I dont have too much time to play games anymore, so I dont need a monster card - something similar to my old one is very much adequate. I have however grown sick and tired of the noise from the card, and having recently begun paying my own power bills, I got pretty shocked at its power consumption. So I would like my new card to be better in these respects, if possible. I have read a little about the GTX 750, which apparently satisfies most of my needs, and is one of the cheapest cards I can get at $200. I purchase at komplett.no.
I wonder if this really is a solid option to go with, or are there better alternatives? And if it is, does it work with my moatherboard? It reads P67-gd55 (B3).
Thanks a lot for your time and help in advance. I really appreciate it.
