I've been trying to get my AMD GPU (HD 7770) and Catalyst Control Center software to be able to properly scale for CS:GO so that I can get Black bars when I play in 4:3 Resolution (right now, I'm playing 4:3 stretched). I've been unable to get CCC to display the game in 4:3 native with black bars. What's interesting to note is that if I were to play starcraft: brood war or counter-strike 1.6, the gpu scaling works as expected (I get black bars for them).
Things I've tried:
Changing resolution to non-native resolution than adjusting CCC for gpu scaling then switching back
Changing ingame resolution to non-native resolution than adjusting CCC for gpu scaling then switching back
Adjusting CCC gpu scaling for maintaining aspect ratio then rebooting
