At that time, I started investigating the problem, but the BSODs were getting too often, sometimes getting into restart loops. I even bought an SSD, thiking my old HD was dying.
But the SSD didn't solve the problem, and then I realized that the problem was with the newest RAM stick.
Now, when I insert only the new stick, the computer won't even start. The CPU fan starts spinning, but after 1 or 2 seconds everything shuts down, and the computer keeps trying to turn on again and again.
I already tried messing around with the BIOS settings and resetting the CMOS by removing the battery, but nothing worked.
Is it a faulty RAM stick? It looks really weird, since it worked for 3 months before failing.
Thanks in advance!
