So I'm using a PS3 controller on the PC with SCP Tookit Drivers. I have it plugged in to my PC's USB port using a USB cable. The controller works fine for the most part. The problem is that it seems to be trying to contact the PS3 downstairs. Every so often, my controller would just disconnect. Sometimes, it goes back up after a second. Sometimes, I need to load the driver on again. Somebody who lives with me says that the PS3 downstairs just randomly turns on.
Question is, do I need to change some setting or do I need a different driver that can fix this problem? Would buying a PS4 controller fix this problem since I don't have a PS4? Or would it try to contact the PS3 as well?
I'm playing some console style games (SF5, I am Setsuna, console style RPGs) on the PC and the PS style controller is the most comfortable for me.
can't you just unplug the ps3?
