This is L_Master. He likes running, StarCraft, and understanding the human mind.
The "L" in his name, and subsequently, his entire ID comes from his ability to have lucid dreams, a state of awareness that you are in a dream while dreaming. He has mastered this state of consciousness and has even written a blog on how you can do it too! Read it: http://www.teamliquid.net/blogs/137954-lucid-dream-guide-the-what-why-and-how-to
L_Master, although absent from StarCraft as of late, has been missed greatly. I really like how relentlessly positive he can be, and how friendly he is to others, especially newbs who want to start playing StarCraft. He leads a clan called sGs (StarCraft Generations) as a way for new players to meet and play with each other, and regularly plays with new players and invites them to join the TL community and learn about StarCraft. I know of very few people with the same enthusiasm to want to share StarCraft with others and make friends with lots of nubs, rather than snubbing them.
His passion is distance running. Rather than sprinting, distance running requires one to have excellent endurance to cover long stretches, and he practices regularly for cross-country runs.
Today is his birthday, and I decided to make this thread for him to let him know how much I appreciate everything he does, whether it be hosting tournaments, commentating, playing, practicing, making friends with new people who want to get into StarCraft, having amazingly good conversations, and being an awesome friend to have.
Anyhow, here's one of many cool things he's shown me over the years, which is this very funny-to-watch sport called "speed walking". Check it out:
Happy birthday L_Master!
