Please try to learn builds and how to forecast player's meta game play and action prioritization, because most viewers have eyes and don't need to be read the exact number of the tabs all the time. Thanks for streaming and keep up becoming better

The casters of imba.tv continuously only talk about exact events on screen (for exmple: okay here hes building a barracks right now.. making a few marines. no one is scouting right now///there he goes and moves 3 scvs onto his gas.) 2.and refer to players as "Protoss, Terran, or Zerg" or as "the green player" ect., essentially depersonalizing the players. The spectator controlling the screen misses several critically important events that make. 3.The frequent racist comments and lack of moderation of the chat that is broadcast live on top of the screen is also pretty lame. 4.Please try to learn builds and how to forecast player's meta game play and action prioritization, because most viewers have eyes and don't need to be read the exact number of the tabs all the time. Thanks for streaming and keep up becoming better (torai edited quote for numbering questions) im sad you feel this way. 1. what we try to do is deliver a playbyplay instead of theorycrafting too much but i agree the playbyplay and theorycrafting can go hand in hand. 2. and 95% of the time players are referred to by name but the other 5% is simply because people have impossibly complex names.. like "ogjzenfvsue" thats not gonna be easy to pronounce. plus i believe you might have caught our stream during this weekend where we did 5 events over 3 days and nearly streamed 24/7 3. I believe the racial comments in the chat you are referring to was during this weekend where we had ALOT of trolls in our chat and i as the main moderator of our channel had to leave for a while because i was at a lan event and had to go home. usually im right ontop of trolls and spammers and get rid of them asap. 4. and again we know the building orders but we do not like to theory craft too much, and about the numbers we do have people on low internet connections who are using our low quality stream and cant always read the numbers - so its kinda a public service And we do try our best to improve our content but i must admit this hectic weekend have been the best weekend so far where we have hit the highest number of viewers ever (i believe its the highest number atleast gotta ask mcDuffs to be sure)

On March 09 2011 05:52 LarJarsE wrote: and refer to players as "Protoss, Terran, or Zerg" or as "the green player" ect., essentially depersonalizing the players. false. listen to any 5 minute sample of my commentary and you'll see i rarely do this. furthermore, our instantly updateable stats board provides more background information on each player than you'll see on any other stream that casts early rounds of 500+ player open online events. including player nationality... preferred race... ladder ranking ... rating points ...etc etc etc. our 30 second intro VODs add another layer of personal touch during the pre-game portion of the show. it was a judgement call on our part to minimize the down time between games. there are many other streams with much greater down times between games (at online open 500+ player one day events). If viewers prefer to listen to long and in depth stories ( day9 and husky are particularly entertaining ) they should not watch our stream. we just broadcast starcraft games i wish i could tell you we are in the midst of changing our stream a lot to respond to your concerns.. but we probably won't thanks for watching!

I'd agree with some of other viewers that I'd like less play by play and more analysis of why stuff is happening. I think this is mainly because I watch a lot of GSL and am used to Artosis who is probably the best caster in the world. Great job casting though guys. McDuff, Jim Raynor, Firesilver and all the other casters too.

Not only do they deliver a superb HD quality stream, they mix in alot of comedy and funny caster rivalry jokes that makes them THE best english streamers The most biggest feature of imbatv is that they have NO DOWNTIME between games ! A team of 3-5 people is always making sure the viewers get not stop action, I mean where can you find that sort of dedication nowadays, most streamers put a " brb in 1 hour sign ", but not imbatv I highly recommend this stream if you want to get better at your game and have a laugh or two on the way

It is a decent stream, production is sound, a TON of overlays during downtime. Casting? Depends. I have my views there. Non-Stop Action? Well...every stream has to wait now and then.

Well...every stream has to wait now and then. great insightful informative post here! the stream has gone down hill since i quit at some of the events they cover they end up showing 3 times as many games as other streams. this makes it too exhausting... the host Mcduffs still complains to me there are not enough games... even when we cover 20 games and other streams cover 7 or 8 games. i'm glad i quit because this "non stop action" stream was just too much work on the day of the event.
