Brood War History: I was a long term Brood War player. I've been playing Vinilla StarCraft ever since it came out. Once introduced to some of the Korean Pro-Players by a friend, I found a heavier interest in playing melee over user map setting games in broodwar. I created some very unique builds that eventually become personalized reaching B- on iccup before moving onto StarCraft 2.
BroodWar RuFF Unique Builds: 1. 2 Base Ghost Rush against zerg with nukes/flares. 2. 1 Base Ultralisk Rush against SK Terran Players with +4 Armor Upgrade into Queen Broodling/Crack Ling.
StarCraft 2 History: With the knowledge of micro'ing from broodwar, I applyed this into StarCraft 2. I was a very cheesy player always proxy raxing players and made it to the top of diamond league doing so. Once the nerf happened, I tried to find another alternative to winning games with micro. At that point I created the Hellion/Viking/Banshee build against all players involving a really fast second factory before Starport. At this point I ran into EGIdra on the ladder. At first I thought he was a smurf and realized that it was the real EGIdra. At that point I took my game to the next level and started entering into small onlin tournaments for 20-50 dollars first prize. After 2 tournaments I made my first victory as a champion in the Weekly StarCraft Cup. Since then I have won many online tournaments for a small cash prize back in 2010. 2011 I stopped playing StarCraft due to infestor abuse. Once I returned summer of 2011, I was picked up by vVv Gaming due to my unique style in taking a lot of known names down on the ladder consistantly. Ever since I've been improving my game style since.
StarCraft 2 RuFF Uniqe Builds: 1. 4 Rax Marine into Reapers and Double Expanding. 2. 3 Rax Into Banshees. 3. Double Planetary Rush on Metalopolis Against Zerg 4. 2 Factory Blue Flame into StarPort. (Doesn't Work Anymore Due to Nerf) 5. +1 Attack, Stim, Combat, 2 Medivac Marine at 8 minute Mark 6. Hellion Outside Main Proxy into StarPort Proxy Reactor 7. 3 Rax into Nuke Rush 8. Mass Rush Viking Against Zerg 9. Standard Gold Expand TvT

Updated the Page!
To answer your question, when I play Terran vrs. Terran. I normally take the Gold Base immidiately with a standard 3 reaper opening. So anytime I expand, 90% of the time its on the gold base. Even if the enemy spots it, I can normally hold unless they do some crazy marauder all in.
(If an admin sees this, can someone edit the Stream Page and put vVvRuFF there instead of RuFF(TR)? I changed my name on TL a while ago, thx!!!) :D

Created a Youtube account and it is linked in the main post. Check out my twitter or facebook for updates on when more videos are coming out! I plan to do 1 each day from broodwar until I get done with all the replays and then proceed to StarCraft 2. If your interested in StarCraft 2 stuff, try to find me between 8:00 EST - 12:00 EST streaming on twitch.tv!
One of those really good GMs that no one pays too much attention to yet. This guy might be the blackcitadel of NA . Get this guy featured though, tune in!
Fun GM Terran to watch. Has an interesting style: Seems like he's all-in rushing at first but he's hitting specific, crisp, early timings. His style isn't all-in--he's often expanding behind his initial attacks--but if the opponent is mindlessly fast expanding, pigging out on gas, kicking back at all, Ruff will tear him up. If players with real solid macro like Drewbie or DeMuslim or Axslav make it past the 10 to 12 minute mark, their chances even up against Ruff (he says DeMuslim has a winning record against him though--about 3 in 4 games).
He deserves more viewers on his stream. He commentates the games well and reads and responds positively to the chat stream betweeen games. (Oh, but he hates chat stream trolls. Loves to ban them! Which is good for the stream!)
hey guys been a long time and gonna keep this short due to horrid internet issues. Going to be streaming tonight at 8:00 EST PM at a local lan. Will post a new update on my life and starcraft when I manage to find internet. Please support and check the stream out!
Hi! Just wanted to comment on this stream. I have been watching RuFF over the past couple months and he streams very regularly (I see him stream almost every night.) It is a very good quality stream with the exact kind of Terran play I enjoy watching, interesting timing attacks, drops, and tactics that you don't see normally. Check out his stream if you are interested in watching a fun Terran and maybe learning some at the same time.
Suprised this thing got bumped hah. I appriciate the comments there enr4ged.
I invite all to check out the stream, I am currently top 20 GM at the moment and I do a lot of wacky fun builds. I also take advice on what people want to see in a game. =]
I've watched his stream twice. First time he was crying and bitching about imbalance (a guy who is only US GM shouldnt talk about balance because - believe it or not - he will make too many mistakes on his own which have nothing to do with balance. only top level koreans or foreigners - which he is not - can cry about balance. Balance is only an issue when you played perfectly and still lost... well... and ruff is far away from palying perfectly. In this particularly game against zerg he went a crazy mech style, didnt harass a single time, let zerg get up to 6-8 bases untouched and then cried because zerg could remax time after time).
The second time I've watched his stream was today. I was watching for 30 seconds and he started to cry about zerg AGAIN. His build on Frozen: proxy rax (flown into zerg's main) into ghost drop (4 ghosts, then CC). Yeah.... Every diamond player would stop that shit, but hey: It's Ruff playing so he lost because it's imbalanced. ZErg is just too good against proxy rax into ghost drop.... Jesus christ. (And of course I couldnt tell him that cause he seems to ban people from his chat who dont agree with his crying)
