mouz Trap is a weekly show, which focuses on a different player each time. That player will be invited to co-cast current replays of him taken from ladder, cups or events with our caster Kaelaris. Additionally, the invitee will be analyzing his games as well as giving insights into his thoughts during those games. Three replays for each matchup will be covered and casted. Inbetween games, viewers will have the opportunity to ask questions whether live in the streamchat or in the newscomments.
Our guest for episode three will be no one other than our own recent pickup, the Swiss Zerg player Han "biGs" Sang Go.

Apart from stumbling on words, and saying oh my god too often you are a very good caster! Not to mention the amazing games from the awesome Mouz players!
Your are a great caster and I loved mouz trap, keep on doing it. also today the last game mana vs funkay, i recall you said u didnt know much about him or something along those lines, unless its just someone with the same name funkay is manas older brother

Ahh thanks for the info! xD MaNa didn't tell me before-hand so I was indeed a tad clueless haha!
Amazing caster, i watched him for 10 minutes and after that he had already blown every other caster out of the water for me, perhaps except Dayj.
He keeps downtime interesting as has been mentioned, he is very open with the chat and has a great feel for when to switch between games and chat. And that's another thing, he is the only caster who can switch between game and chat like that ingame.
The only complaint i have is that he is not more known, and that he doens't cast bigger events. But hopefully mouz will put an end to that :D!
Going live in 20 minutes with the Sennheiser Cup! Might be a little downtime between games but i'll make sure to keep things interesting! <3 www.twitch.tv/mousesports
Really nice caster pick! Didn't know about him before watching this stream but he is definitively one of the best casters in the scene, no doubt about it.
He keeps people entertained with his passion about the game. He also keeps himself involved with the stream viewers in the chat, wich is awesome and makes you feel really close to him, therefore involved and entertained because of his personality.
In the few hours that I watched the stream I have the feeling that I will never watch him blame the game, metagame, imba strats or any of that shit.
Looking forward to hear more from you Kaelaris! Hope you get some rly nice contracts so you can live your esports dream!
I cannot believe u badmouth other casters/people On your stream that is very unprofessional and childish atleast dont do it on your stream it doesnt make you look good at all.

I actually didn't bad mouth you sorry Just told the story how it was.
Many people will tell you i'm not the kind of person to BM regardless I apologise for not wanting to cast with you for Playhem, I understand why you would have a sour taste in your mouth about it but I actually apologised to you so : (
not accurate as will all the ppl hearing his cast today would agree he wasnt bm you. Its sad that you feel the need to create e-drama to attract attention.you do your thing and kael does his.Let it go lol hear say isnt the best quality of info to insult kael on TL's forum.
P.s love your castings kael keep up the great work bro.
this episode is amazingly teaching for p players. I love hasuobs. he is a natural talent. but huk once said he is lazy with hard practicing. I wonder how he would pwn if he went hardcore,,
dare I say, this episode is as teaching as a day9 episode with protoss exclusively
+1 Great show. Always nice to get a closer look at the players' perspective on his own games. I think one could learn a lot from these mouz trap episodes... maybe I have to start playing again;)
Also, Hasu seems to be a perfect fit for this kind of show! He is handling the questions really well and has so much good info to offer.

We will develop mouz Trap step by step.. so it is not only a focus on P. We will get our other players analyzing and casting their games well, so all Races get their player insights.
Every time i watch a show i get another incentive to support Mouzsports. i even find myself rooting for Mouz players simply because I have been provided with good entertainment.
I want to be critical and tell you a list of things that you need to do better because i know you would love that but it's hard not to focus on the positive when you are otherwise having a good time watching.
People love you and that's quite unique. You have some of the Husky factor going on and i think you should keep playing on that fact. We all love you because we all feel like we know you. Also you get us close to the pro gamers on a regular basis which is not something that is being done enough.
Or maybe that's just how i feel and everyone else secretly hates you, who knows :-P?
I promise that once i find something to complain about (that isn't twitch -.-) I will let you know!
Real entertaining AND informative show! This should definitely happen more often (especially with HasuObs' insight)!!! Sad to hear though that you dont have any friends

Normally we'd be streaming the Sennheiser Cup. However right now i'm having some internet issue which mean I constantly dc randomly and the stream isn't of the quality we want.
I'm sorry for people who wanted to watch : ( but quality is of the utmost importance for us, and as such i'm looking for solutions asap to fix the issue.
We'll be streaming today! (wooo!) the Go4SC2 Grand Finals! Thankfully my internet is now stable so we're able to bring you the show of a lyfeeeee tiemmm.
Sorry guys I just couldnt continue with the stream today.. This internet problem that I thought was fixed is not and it's actually driving me to the point of insanity. Trying as hard as possible to fix asap
The best British caster alongside d.Apollo in my opinion. Its really worth following and tuning in when he is casting. Very entertaining to listen to and has a good analytic knowledge. Also interacts very nicely with the chat

Great that you tuned in and hope to see you another time! <3
Since TL has changed their format (mostly for the better) and gone through and weeded out many featured streamers (including kaelaris/mousesports tv - not for the better). I recommend anyone who uses google chrome get this extension. TL thread link can be found here.
Let's all keep tuning and and get Mousesports featured again! :D
Been listening/watching the Mouse stream for a couple of days now and I just wanted to say thank you Kaelaris, you've got a pleasant voice and focus on the games (instead of going on tangents/keeping yourself in the spotlight like IPL), and idk if you've got a dedicated obs, but I've got no complaints in that department anyway. Good job!

Hi there Kaelaris, I figure it is about time I voice my public support for your casting around here. I've got to say I really like your take on casting and thoroughly enjoy watching you cast. That goes for the wee hours as well
I recommend to anyone who wants to see good casting combined with hilarious commentary. It's the closest thing to day9 in therms of charisma and funny...nes.......yea that's a word....................................................STOP JUDGING ME!
Only thing i would recommend to Kaelaris is to check the production tab a bit more often. Other then that.. one of the funniest casters i'v yet to see + interaction with the chat room is epic.
Again i heartly recommand him to anyone who wants to have a good time while watching SC2 games.
This guy is an upcoming caster and you guys should check him out, he comments and answers your question most of the time when he can and has a good knowledge of this game. As stated before, got humour too so yeah, just check him out. Also casts together with other mouzplayers which is a nice feature you rarely see in other castershows. Yeah, 5/5 for this guy.
Kaelaris is a great caster who knows what he's talking about. His biggest plus is his interaction with all the streamwatchers, just join the Chat on twitch.tv while streaming and he will answer most of your questions, even while streaming. Another plus is that the chat is really mannered, hardly any trolls or rude people around (hope I don't jinx it now xD).
All in all, a good caster with personality and who involves you in the stream! Good luck with getting more viewers Kael! You deserve it.
P.S. His british accent is hilarious and his puppy is a baller.
EDIT: Ok after reformatting my PC and having everything ok for the past month or so.. the vod cutting/internet cutting problems have arisen again and now I think I know what the problem is... He's talking about me guys I'm the one making it so nice you know <3!
Hey, me too ^^
I'm sad there's no Kael cast today unless there's somehow a mouzTrap going on
Not tonight sorry Regardless my girlfriend has actually scheduled us a "Puppy Course" to go on so that our puppy can meet other puppies... wtf is the world coming to... lol!
Sounding good so far! I know it's not far in, but it's better than being bad immediately right? hah. Btw, love the hedgehog, reminds me of the one I had so long ago XD
Great stream and great commentary! Kaelaris got a complex understanding of the game and the tactics which evolve around the buildorders. His humor is refined about the situations in the game. Hope his application to GSL and GOM is a succes. Also would love to see him dualcast with the other Code-A casters. Lets cheer him on and hope the best
Might be a little late with today's cup due to being behind, making food etc. Shouldn't be too long though <3
EDIT: May not be able to cast today. We're hunting down prescriptions for my girlfriend which we're in dire need of.. as odd as it sounds it's rather important.
hey Kaelaris, i wanted to add some feedback. Your show was very entertaining, never was bored even when it wasnt related to starcraft. You have an awesome, unique style of casting and your voice fits perfectly to it. For LAN-casting you maybe should be a bit calmer with your hands, but on stream its just your style and is fine. You didnt curse (i think never) but found good words most of the time.. I also liked the interaction with the chat alot! You dont have to be nervous when someone of your team joins, no caster is perfect and most talk "nonsense" sometimes, that doesnt matter - just that you see it and give your thoughts (improving in knowledge is a work in continue ^^)
Really excellent casting. Really proffesional, interesting, insightful, exciting as well as friendly, articulate. On the same level or better than the already well esstablished casters such as day9 and husky! WANT to see this guy casting big lans soon.

edit... and you can try to teach him some finnish!
First time i tuned tuned in to your stream and really enjoyed it. I liked how you were able to entertain between matches off of simple chat remarks without ever being boring. game sense usually was spot on. I enjoyed how you were able to build anticipation for something that was about to happen even if the situation at hand was a bit complex.
On December 30 2011 07:37 xXxPhoe wrote: your cast would be much better without calling everybody "MR. ...."
My apologies, I personally don't see it as an issue but I can understand completely why someone wouldn't like it Just a tick I have sadly, you'll notice a lot of casters have their own quirks if you really delve deep into their wording!
As for all the other great feedback, huge thank you and a massive thank you for tuning in for the IEM Qualifiers! We arranged it very last-minute and I only expected about 100 viewers, not 2.4k :D
<3 you all - I shall keep grinding to become the best caster possible!

Just happened to check out the stream, the commentary was great. Went into it with lower expectations because I've never seen you cast before today but they were vastly surpassed.
Only major things that detracted from the game were the SW:TOR and paint window pop ups, maybe you ran them by Windows+5? Either way, shit happens, also easy thing to fix for next time

Very entertaining caster to watch - the downtime between matches is both funny AND informal to viewers, as in lots of relevant information about the ongoing matches is being passed on, but funny jokes are not absent. I don't even play SC2 myself, but with casting like this it's definitely fun to watch, and I'm going to be following very closely!

Chocolate melting in a person’s mouth can cause a more intense and longer-lasting “buzz” than kissing. The same can be said while watching Kaelaris's casting.
i liked your casting better then any of the "big name" casters that are supposed to be at assembly winter. hopefully u will get to show off ur casting on the big streams.... alongside totalbiscuit would be awesome imo.
also will u be casting assembly from your stream or from a official assembly stream?
Another evening went by with awesome casting. You should try to team up with casters that are as nice and knowledgable as you (rotti, khaldor, mrbitter etc). I hope that way you can make it to the 'big scene'. IMHO you belong there.

I believe i'll be casting via a SETT.fi stream, which will be listed on TL
Hey You need to turn down your outbound volume a bit. The sound is getting slightly distorted when you get excited. And it's hard on the ears. For reference I have the IPL stream twitchtv volume at 50% where I have yours at 25%. When IPL streams with DOA and CatsPJ the sound never distorts and is much more comfortable listening to. Ot's not as bad as Playhem or Imba streams but still enough that I think you should turn the volume down a bit.
Sigh, Today the IPL stream of Jjakji Vs Hero had very poor quality sound(DOA/CatsPJ) Maybe it's just a general thing in streams that the quality of sound isn't important. I don't know, I do know that you paid attention to my concern, I just wanted to let you know that IPL isn't the standard. Maybe only Day[9] has consistent good sound quality?

It's a difficult thing to get right if your hardware isn't up to it IPL has a lot better hardware than myself though I can tell you that :D hehe. I'm actually a little clueless as to what I can do to properly fix it sadly.. maybe a better microphone would suffice? : /

I'm not sure about the audio setup of streaming software. However there exists free software solutions to limit and compress audio. This is just what you need for speech. Perhaps there is a stand alone audio software for this, I've used recording studios, which are free, and route audio through a free VST effect, that compresses audio, such as these http://freemusicsoftware.org/category/free-vst-effects-2/compressor.
Of course if you have 2nd laptop available, you can plug mic in it, run compressor VST effect in audio "studio" software like REAPER, and wire that output into your streaming computer. Also you can buy cheap HW audio compressor from music instrument shop or a site like http://muusikoiden.net/tori/

Well, when you moved the microphone further away from your mouth, it almost removed all the hardness, and there was no clipping/distortion. And as said Day[9] doesn't seem to have the problem, of course he doesn't use a headset, which may be the reason. I don't know.
And I'm not sure what could cause me needing to turn the volume of the stream from 50% to 10% for IPL, trying to avoid the distortions.

Just experiment bro. See what microphone distance does, and stuff. But I find your sound to be quite good actually.
I've installed a new sound card, so next time I watch streams, I may need to pull my foot from my mouth! Who knows, It'll be interesting to see/listen...

:D I must say I don't normally get the complaint you've risen, so it might be your card??? But regardless i'm always looking to improve my cast so i'm I myself am trying to make it better pro-actively :D
I'd like to say, since I made posts about bad sound, it turns out, to my mega embarresment!, that my soundcard had issues, I installed a new card and sound is much better, so taking my foot out of my mouth here That said sometimes the mouth is just plain to close to microphone. And I haven't heard your stream with new card, but I expect it to be better.

OMG YOU MADE ME REFORMAT MY PC AND NOW I'VE LOST TONNES OF DATA!
doing a good job kaelaris! apart from pissing off adel and the hoax of the century - albino hedgehogs not being shipped around the world (who cares for animal rights anyway?)
Really enjoying your cast. Could you do me a favor and apply to cast the ESET Master Series in English? That would be awesome All Information @ http://www.eset-masters.de Just ignore the casters listed there, they are just placeholders afaik (except for HomerJ of course)
Allready written ones, great stream. Great casting! Really like your stream interaction.
I would love you casting GSL in korea. But honestly, we can't have that. Since your GF can't come in during pauses and show all your cool pets. But otherwise I would verry much cheer for you going to korea casting.
Great caster and person! Very polite and interactive with chat as he casts but also very knowledgeable about the game and provides good insight. He has a very good personality and knows how to keep it rolling without random moments of silence when casting alone which is hard to do. A+++++++++++

If it does not conflict with my other casts I would be more than happy to apply to cast mon ami!
EDIT: Having a tough time finding where to apply could you please direct to the specific place? <3
Awesome casting at Asus Rog So happy to see you at a major tournament. Keep up the awesomeness! ^^
edit: everyone in the LR report thread has only said good things about your casting, none has done any caster bashing! That's gotta be a record but your casting is that awesome ^^

Really good day today kaelaris
Always good to be introduced to another caster, found your casts with MrBitter to be very good - definitely going to keep an eye out for new stuff

awesome, nice to get YOUR name out there more (need more people to get to know you and your casting).
Bump the thread if you can to announce when/where I can watch you casting IEM!
edit: ah your doing analysis between games - awesome!
Kael, haha its great to see you in a big event : ) I dont know if its a good or a bad thing but you are now known as either: Boromir, Faramir or Prince charming. hahah, good stuff.
Kael and Grubby are a very good caster team. Unlike most casters you put tension into the game and that's what we want. I am pleased to have found a great caster. Congratz and keep working : )
I'm glad IEM (Carmac? <3) gave you opportunity to shine on the big stage like IEM. Hope to see more LANs invite you to cast! Think I've seen most of your casts this week and it's just great to see how can you adapt to any co-caster and make a great show.
The IEM casting has been awesome! I'm so glad they gave you this opportunity to cast it and you have really proven that your one of the casters that should be in these sort of competitions .
Kael, I really enjoy your casting. you are very eloquent and likeable. Very high level (and professional attitude) casting style. Keep it up and you should be up there with most popular casters (day9, Tastosis) very soon. Great job!
Going live in 30 minutes with the SC2SL between Millenium and BLAST! GSTL all-kill style! http://www.twitch.tv/mousesports_sc2 - first solo-cast for a while !
