Players are now streaming on the IM team stream as they feel, no scheduled shows etc. Be sure to keep an eye out on the side bar to see when they are live!
Why do the Koreans use F'n Own3d.tv its awful for watching streams on man! QQ
Still great news IM are streaming! Will catch it! Feel sorry for the EU/NA guys though Korea taking over the streaming market aswell now!! MKP had 8k viewers @ 9am GMT which is pretty good at that time (being he is in EU) be interesting to see if anyone can rival the Idra records or Destiny ones. 15k i have seen Idra with? thats just me aswell.
Q: What do you say to your player in the booth when they are having problems/doing poorly?
A: For the most part he focuses on calming down and reassuring the players, and sometimes "lies" about their opponent being even more nervous etc. Usually includes some general strategy talk too.
Q: How do you keep them from becoming frustrated and losing the match
A: Most players don't get frustrated, they know how to handle their emotions. If they do get frustrated the coach will offer a massage (lol!)
Q: What makes MVP and NesTea so succesful?
A: They are more passionate about their achievements, they both practice hard and know HOW to practice.
Q: How do you coordinate players practice schedules before upcoming games, is it the coach or the players who decide
A: 80-90% of the time players practice within the teamhouse, especially for Code S. If NesTea were to play MC all the protoss players would help out by practicing their PvZ and being available to NesTea. Also all the Zerg players in the house will practice ZvP so NesTea can watch some of their games, pick up ideas, and to generally discuss strategy within the match up.

Maybe they'll do that later, if I understood right this is just a test try.

True dat, they need more viewers so they see this as a success and keep on streaming more in the future!
Q: How do you feel about foreigners when compared to Korean players in the SC2 scene?
A: (mvp says hi to the stream) Pretty similar skills really
Q: Do you think foreigners are capable of winning Code S?
A: It's homeground for Koreans so he thinks foreigners have a harder time here, but skillwise he thinks a foreigner could definitely win Code S.
Q: What do you think about your GSL group
A: Since he has NesTea in his group it's kind of difficult to play. It will be easier for him to practice for since he has three Zergs in his group.
Q: How do you feel about playing Idra? (this was added by Hwanni, there was no initial mention in his first response)
A: It will be a lot of fun, he's a top foreign zerg player
Q: What are your thoughts on the difference between bw and sc2?
A: He says they're pretty different games really, but doesn't elaborate more.
Q: What's balance like for Terran players?
A: He feels it's very hard to play against good Zerg players right now.
---
Questions are spilling over into his actual streamed game so I'll update a few more:
Q: What's up with his wrists?
A: He has problems with CTS and is supposed to go to the hospital weekly to have them checked but he often forgets.
Q: What graphics does he play on?
A: Your basic medium graphic settings.
Q: What do you think about mech vs Protoss?
A: He will NEVER EVER play Mech against Protoss. (This gets reasked a second time and he says it won't work and never works)
Q: Why do you not use the low graphics settings?
A: The game is made for 3d not 2d so it's much nicer to enjoy the game with better graphics.
Q: How many games on average do you play a day?
A: Around 30 games or so.
Q: Who do you practice with outside the team?
A: He mostly plays with his teammates, but he practices a lot with DRG (especially if he has to play NesTea).
Q: (Hwanni didn't really translate this directly so I might have misinterpreted) How important is APM in SC2
A: It's not really APM that matters in SC2 or BW. What matters is if your hands do what you're thinking and what you want to do, and that's when a person has good mechanics. (thanks to Itsmedudeman for the clarification)
Q: Who's the best foreign player?
A: Huk
Q: What were your thoughts on the Blizzard Cup finals?
A: He only saw the series till the fourth game and then turned off presuming it would be an easy win! When he heard later that it went to game 7 he felt it was because they were both good players.
Q: Favourite BW player?
A: He looked up to Boxer.
Q: Some questions about MVP's GF
A: Evasive =p They play some 2v2 at masters together though apparently, and she's not as old as Hwanni!
---
Anecdote:
@WCG the Chinese fans are super loud going into the final with MVP and Xigua, after game 1 Mr Kang and Hwanni talk to MVP and let him know about this and he tells them he'll quiet them down within 20 minutes. Come the end of the game he's dropping in 3 places, nuking everything, and the Chinese fans are silent xD

Artosis would argue that it takes an even more skilled player to pull it off correctly (or that MVP ist just leasy and wants easier wins ). Only time can tell wheter he'll right about that or not (most likely not in WoL though).
Rank 4 masters, 5k viewers, MVP has won with all 3 races now heh
Still no losses on the account, IM coach is going to play again with MVP giving instructions (not sure if that's serious instructions or amusing strategy instructions)

@ Asha, the question about the APM went more like this for the answer:
It's not really APM that matters in SC2 or BW. What matters is if your hands do what you're thinking and what you want to do, and that's when a person has good mechanics.

I never really believed the people who said there was as large of a skill gap between bottom of masters and top of GM as there is between bronze and diamond, but I'm now a convert.

I think we saw the difference between pro and a very good player (coach). Other zerg styles are more pressured based thats why the commentator meant. He had that many minerals because he wasnt wasting units.

That and MVP was dropping in multiple places while also controlling his main army to prevent any counter attacks. The coach just couldn't multitask as well.

well not really. when MVP took over the zerg had late-game hive units. when a zerg goes hive and doesn't make 6 spines at each of his bases its easy to drop him and get ahead. not trying to take anything away from MVP here, he played the game brilliantly. :D

MVP was a bit late with his 3rd, without really pressuring the terran. Later he did some ling runbys and teched heavily, thats what i think he was maxed rather late. Rather late, because he clearly played a macro game. If he would have gone for a roach push on 2 base, yes ofc you max out later after that.

I thought this was an apt quote from the thread on Reddit: "sorry our 3 time GSL winner had an unavoidable meeting come up and can't make it...but don't worry, we called up our other 3 time GSL champion and he's coming to stream instead!"
Love how MVP takes over lost games and turns them into wins. The players he's playing against are probably like wtf this guy just got 10000000000000000000000000000x better

I agree 100 % with you. Mvp is my favorite player and watching him play is beyond awesome. But he doesn't seem to have nearly as many fans as some of the more "flashy" players. It's a bid sad to be honest.
MVP just needs to stream more. 8k viewers. And if news spread of his skill while streaming, it probably could go up to levels that could make idra/huk viewer counts look poor.
Imo they do it right. 2-4 Hours at some days in the week: scheduled. They will always have about 8000+(guess in the early stages rather 15000+ ) viewers. GJ IM

I just watched the VODs and it was a big let down for me. MVP only played two games as Terran, the rest were offrace or him taking over for the coach who was losing. I want to see MVP playing real games! (those two he did play were awesome).

I just want to see MVP playing Terran, that is why I watch. Not to see him offracing or a coach playing. If it was Nestea I'd want to see him playing Zerg and that's it.
The fact that MVP only played two games as Terran is just sad to me since I was really looking forward to this.
It really saddens me that they chose to go with own3d instead of Twitch. It's unbelievable how abysmal own3d is. I've been opening and closing the vods with Chrome,IE, Firefox to no avail. Still has not freaking loaded.
Does anyone know a workaround of this? I've disabled Adblock so that can't be the issue.

It's very well known that MVP just trolls arround on ladder, and never plays seriously.. (NesTea to) and he usually always plays random on ladder, and still maintains a 60% + winrate on korean GM.

I'm pretty sure that even the games he plays Terran he doesn't play seriously. I don't think any of the Koreans take ladder games too seriously. The only reason they ladder is to keep up mechanics.
Edit: And it's not like his Zerg was bad. He said he's beaten MKP and Bomber with Zerg...which is more than you can say about many of the "top foreigners" playing their main race.
I think people are sort of misunderstanding the whole meaning of the stream.. It's not your normal everyday player streaming ladder games type of stream. More of a variety show type of a thing, getting more Team IM content out there for us foreigners.. Therefore I think people shouldn't threat it as a normal player stream like let's say ForGG's or Bomber's is.

Everything points towards players having there own streams while this is kept as some kind of weekly show with translations. (Players have their own own.3d accounts already and the head of ksl said we would be seeing all of the players stream soon)

Ah, I just hope that IM and Nestea realise that what Naniwa did was nothing to do with disrespect for them and that it was entirely due to annoyance/disappointment at himself and (I think) he didn't feel like going through with the formality of a pointless¹ match. ¹ Except that it is to entertain the fans etc. It was unprofessional, but I just hope they can learn that Naniwa means nothing against them, it was only to do with himself. Great for them to just not talk about it or think about it afterwards, but I'd like them to not think worse of him than he deserves.

I think IM should have its separate streams for each players :/. For example, if MVP or Nestea were streaming as themselves, they would have at least 10k -15k viewers np.

Well, they are winning too much and so the account is getting a pretty high MMR for the coach. Also, I think coach is a protoss player so he was off racing terran and zerg.

Windows 7, Firefox and Chrome. Updated Flash Player a while ago, still doesn't work.
How much does he inspire himself from Mvp? how does he feels towards his code S group? does he think he can become better than Mvp? will eh play international events this year? does he like the Minivp nick name?

I think the questions are supposed to be posted on their facebook page

Couldn't say, not sure how things stand now Fnatic signed Hwanni on as staff since he was a big part of the streaming sessions. Will try tweet @ him or something and see if there's anything in the works.
Just watch the MVP streaming session. My god, he is so good. So much going on when he plays. When he takes over for the coach it is amazing how fast he goes from losing to crushing the zerg.

Rofl this is hilarious. Some IM random player doing his placement matches on the NA server. And some bronze zerg asks "what league are you in?" rofl. Little does the bronzie know he's playing against a player on IM.

this hurts my brain :c
Well, if the stream said Nestea or MVP, i bet it gets a lot more viewers
yeah they should change the name
Streams hold the name of the TL account, if IM cared that much they would have individual accounts for their top players. They also have an individual battle.net streaming account, which is sort of curious...

Yeah that was kinda funny. But I like the idea of the late roach because raoches are supply inefficient. The problem is later in the game there were too many vikings for nestea to handle and he got BLs a tad too late imo. The roach engagements midgame weren't going so well. At the same time, T's banshee harass and hellion runby's are very annoying.

I don't really understand why his opponent GG'd there.
Nestea was down to 2 bases and was down to ~90 food, the Protoss still had 2 bases. Did Protoss just have no army to deal with all those Lings/Mutas Nestea had left over?

Y'all know that it's MVP streaming at the moment right? :O
yeah, it's my bday present few days ahead
hehe!
Do we get an Ironsquid group B thread up today? =p
preview has been written, I'm just waiting for the visuals with the schedule of the shows to post! Show is on tonight with the very same Mvp we just watched :D
Ah this last game was everything I hate about TvP. Full upgrades on bio, like 2/0 on vikings, 4 base. Massive concave outside the Protoss nat and proceed to get completely steamrolled by the toss army attacking out into it TT

I didn't want to comment as I would have been temp banned for balance whine

It's kinda sad to see MVP struggling vs Z/P like us common folk noobs :\
Aww man, can't believe I missed the Mvp stream! Anyone have links to the vods? I checked own3d but everything is from '1 week ago', even though half of it is clearly older (I'm assuming it's just buggy).
