OK, WHO predicted this? WHO?! 1. Bulloch 2. Debit 3. Paul 4. Pride I don't believe anybody predicted this. What a tournament it was! After beating pride 2:0, Bulloch played Paul - a match where I'm sure for at least 90% of the observers Paul was the favourite (as in most likely to win). Bulloch defeated Paul 2:1 in interesting TvZs and moved on to play Debit in the finals of the tournament. All the games were TvZ and the arrangement was the following: Debit, as the winner of the winner bracket, started out with a one series advantage. That meant he had to win only 1 BO3 series to take the first place. Bulloch, however, had to win 2 BO3 series vs Debit IN A ROW to accomplish the same. So, after losing the first game of the series, Bulloch had to win 4 games vs debit with the allowance of only 1 loss. Vs Debit, the 300 APM tvz zvt zvp player who went completely undefeated up to this point. Vs Debit, who sent Bulloch to the loser brackets. Vs Debit who beat Paul 2:0 playing terran, once on Kohral, where Paul beat radiaL(T), Louden(T), Testie(T) using exactly the same strategy every game. Now what were the odds of Bulloch going 4:1 or 4:0 vs THAT debit? Bulloch, I know you'll be reading this! Respect, man! Respect. I probalby sound like an excited newbie but you impressed me so greatly. It's not like he's unknown but nobody predicted him to win and not even that many people outside of canada know his name. This guy gave us a pretty display of micro and he performed a different strategy almnost every game against his gosu opponents. We saw mass wraiths in at least 2 TvZs, vultures and goliaths vs zerg, various openings vs protoss opponents, including formidable HnR)Pride. Good luck in Montreal, where you're hopefully going! Debit should also be a great threat there. The event lasted until roughly 8:00 PM today, Sunday. In the raffle at the end a computer, 5 monitors, keyboards, mice, headsets and games were distributed RANDOMLY among the winners of the games. It was fucking stupid! Bulloch, #1 Starcraft won a mouse! Debit, #2 SC won an XBOX game or something! Some CS "gangsta" won a computer! That was not cool. Then some prizes were pulled out of a hat for all participants. The most notable prize there was a paid trip and hotel to San Fran WCG Finals. 2 people were selected and they had to fight for the trip in a BO3 Rock-paper-scissors game, standing back to back. Diclawsus was one of them, we cheered for him! The other was also a starcraft player, Bulloch's friend, I think - a funny guy whose name or ID I don't know. Well they're both funny guys. The latter won with 2 rocks vs 2 scissors. Don't know how to wrap this up. Twas fun basically. I think I'm the only one who has the replays of the 5 games between Debit and Bulloch in the finals and 3 games between Bulloch and H_Paul_WII. (Also 2 games Bulloch and pride but I think Pride uploaded them). I stole all that from bulloch's computer cause I think he didn't care to upload em or anything. Anyone want these? Where should I upload?

Debit, you rule too I'm biased for Terran though, but your games vs Paul were so damn impressive! 3-4 base terran never going above 500 minerals tvz is so hard and that defense matrixed marine micro was fantastic Paul, too bad you didn't get that computer you wanted; your comfort can be that even if you did win starcraft you'd still only have a small chance of receiving a computer. Your strategy on Kohral ZvT was unbeatable once you got in gear - very impressive; I loved the way you used defilers Pride, after your elimination it looked like your pride was hurt, but Bulloch was the best that day I think Thanks for the reports and curses for eliminating testie; he would have been interesting to see in San Fran You "goofy protoss" (thanks Diclawsus), proxying every other game It seemed to work for you - should have done it agaist bulloch maybe Meeting everyone was an interesting experience. thought you played Bulloch... I played Bulloch live, but I do bet he is better than me I think our game could've been closer. I knew Martian Cross was a bad map for me (pvt) and the game just sucked in general. Though, it's cool. I wasn't that surprised by the winnings though, I mean bulloch wasn't *the* expected winner but shit happens. I think what would've been a big shocker is Testie winning.. ;D Oh spam toss --v v-- ^^ @"@ !!
