This is very good and I hope that the community will support this. But how will you offer prizes if it's free?
Today I found out her real name. No, I didn't ask her myself; when the class was doing a group assignment I walked to her desk and found her last name on a paper.

Oh okay. That's fine.
Is this the same thing as the one that Xeris was promoting and the nice, non-lame counterpart to that other csl tournament that got closed? It's getting kinda confusing, especially since you're apparently in both.

From what I gather,

There are two CSLs

One, headed by mona and supported by TL, is CSL+

The other, headed by sedraxis?, is CSL (cstarleague.org)

I don't see many schools joining the CSL instead of CSL+

Here's a snippet from the spoiler now:

I'm dropping the legal title and continuing with my vision of CSL. As far as I know, CSL, Inc. will still be running a CSL. I will also be running a CSL. I encourage you all to check both out and maybe even register for both - I understand either way, and think competing Starleagues are really cool (just like MSL and OSL). The other staff have a unique business vision of CSL because of previous experience in that area, but I don't think it will be compatible with mine.

^^In the most diplomatic way I could put it.

There are two CSL's. I'm not sure how legal matters will end up with CSL, Inc., but they're planning to run a league as well. We're running a league minus the bureaucracy, fees, and corporation - called CSL+ just in case they decide to trademark the name.

yeah I really don't see how the other CSL will survive with their fees and everything when everyone will just join this one.

Are you in a CC but interested in CSL? - PM me for details!

I'm assuming by "CC" you mean community college?
NRCC will destroy Virginia Tech... as soon as they stop dodging our exhibition challenges.

Yes, at this point we haven't decided anything yet but we're trying to get a count of people who won't be able to play because of issues like being at a small college / etc.

That's probably confusing, sorry about that. One was a happy preview to this thread, and this thread has everything you need to know about registration.

I have a friend trying to start one, but no one ever responds to him. He said he had 10 interested schools. PM me if you want his details ^^

Having two leagues might be a solution to the A/B team problem that some schools have.
