Demetori's good, though I'm also a big fan of xi-on for some more awesome guitar action. The only other good group that I can think of off the top of my head that has good guitar is dBu. If only UI-70 would return to their former glory...

I just listened to this breath-taking arrangement of Bloom nobly, cherry blossoms of Sumizome ~ Border of Life and i have to say it's one of the most epic arrangements out there . Well every arangement of this song is good in my book ...it's such an amazing song .
I started playing the touhou games just , because they have nice music . So far it's really hard to complete the games without using a continue on easy let alone normal

Found these ones recently. WAVE does a lot of nice arrangements. I like these two in particular, but you should check out the rest of the arrangements.
I had been introduced to PCB 3 years ago by a friend but didn't know it as a Touhou game. I don't recall beating it even on easy back then before giving up.
I got into them because I downloaded Candid Friend (Stage 3 boss theme on MoF) on osu and wanted to find out where it came from - I've been using Osu to help me pick out games to play because good music is a big draw for me.
I finally 1cc'd MoF on normal about a week ago, so I downloaded the rest and made it my goal to beat 6-8 and 10-12 on normal with no continues. The second game I tried was SA, but it's so hard on normal (I think I might want to switch away from MarisaB and play ReimuA - I really like the different styles of attacking but the bombs are total crap) T_T
So I gave up after getting owned by Orin for the umpteenth time and proceeded to 1cc IN in like 5 tries (lol, deathbombing is so easy in that game). Now I'm working on PCB.
Edit: Just 1cc'd SA with ReimuA. 3 down 3 to go (PCB, UFO, EoSD)

lol haji after reading your blog I ended up listening to a bunch of XL Project albums. Still a lot more to go, but I do like what I've heard so far. I really like the circle now, they put out a lot of chill progressive trance and downtempo music And the more energetic stuff mixed in is great too.
You could just personally ask him more about the music he makes since you actually hang with him. Everyone here who knows him will probably just say "yeah I love his awesome music ^_^"
Ask him if his older albums are still available (since I can't find anything about it online). I don't know how high the demand is, and I can't guarantee that I'd buy one right now, but I just want to know :3

Coincidentally I talked to him today about making his stuff more readily available online, and he's really open to it. He, along with many others, are actually aware of the western fanbase, so I think the transition towards making their stuff available to non-japanese listeners will be a natural progression.
As for estha in particular, I'm probably going to be making his entire discography available on youtube so I'll post here when things progress.

Lol that's pretty insane haji. XL Project is a bit hit and miss for me, but the hits are pretty damn good. mintea is also a good singer when her voice matches well with the song. Are you in Japan right now?
And you can certainly find all of XL Project's stuff online... Just gotta know where to look

I've got a few more albums to go through (already listening to the discography in order, lol) and it's just great :D
