Note that Yayba recieved a walkover. Fenix was having internet issues and was forced to forfeit. DIMAGA was at a concert all week and had to forfeit in the first round also.


To celebrate the launch of Justin.tv's Gaming section, Justin.tv is sponsoring a tournament in conjunction with iCCup celebrities Brent and Kenny. The iCCup StarCraft Invitational brought to us by Justin.tv boasts an impressive $1250 in prize money and all of the biggest names in the foreign scene!

JustinTV Gaming will, over the next 5 weeks, bring you all the top foreign StarCraft action as the StarCraft players duke it out for the grand prize of $700 in what has been dubbed the 'JSI'. Each week, iCCup's own Brent and Kenny (of StarCraft with Brent and Kenny fame) will follow the tournament closely and bring you all the best footage, news and drama from the front lines, including highlights of each match.

As mentioned, Justin.TV's Gaming sub-site is providing this opportunity, and they appreciate the big gaming presence over at Justin.tv. If you have a gaming broadcast you'd like promoted by Justin.tv, you can follow this link.

Tournament Details

Format

32 players (11 zerg, 10 terran, 11 protoss)
Single elimination tournament.
The matches are Best-of-3 for the first three rounds of the tournament.
Semi-finals will be Best-of-5, and the Grand Final a Best-of-7.


Prizepool

The winner will receive $700.

The runner-up will receive $350.

3rd place will receive $200.

8th of Oct to the 5th of Nov.

Also something to note is that other sponsors working with the tournament may mean special prizes and perhaps even fan prizes to reward dedicated viewers, as mentioned on StarCraft with Brent and Kenny!
