I know this thread might be a tad early for the TL faithful, but I think it's appropriate when just last night D-II Le Moyne College stunned the #25 Syracuse Orange(LINK) in an exhibition contest. Considering as well that I have now made the move from Ann Arbor to one of the centers of College Basketball in Louisville, Kentucky, this season should overall be really great. Below is the pre-season Top 25:

AP Top 25
1. Kansas (55) 0-0 1,612
2. Michigan State (5) 0-0 1,515
3. Texas (1) 0-0 1,397
4. Kentucky (3) 0-0 1,372
5. Villanova 0-0 1,347
6. North Carolina (1) 0-0 1,320
7. Purdue 0-0 1,284
8. West Virginia 0-0 1,115
9. Duke 0-0 1,064
10. Tennessee 0-0 897
11. Butler 0-0 864
12. Connecticut 0-0 844
13. California 0-0 800
14. Washington 0-0 776
15. Michigan 0-0 578
16. Ohio State 0-0 465
17. Oklahoma 0-0 410
18. Mississippi State 0-0 393
19. Louisville 0-0 335
20. Georgetown 0-0 326
21. Dayton 0-0 318
22. Georgia Tech 0-0 301
23. Illinois 0-0 282
24. Clemson 0-0 217
25. Minnesota 0-0 172

College Basketball Pick'Em Pool:

I was wondering if there would be any interest in a small College Basketball Pick'em pool. What I would do is choose 5 weekend games each week, the person that ends up getting the most games correct would be declared the winner. If there is some interest for this, let me know.

The games for real tip off Monday, November 9th.

6 big 10 teams in top 25.

Conference is going to be stacked this year. Maybe we'll finally win the Big 10 ACC challenge.

Yea Big Ten basketball has been good lately even tho some people still rag on it. Football might not be strong but our basketball is pretty much one of the better conferences.

Oh and

Go Green!

Big Ten/ACC Challenge Matchups:

Nov. 30:
Penn State at Virginia

Dec. 1st:
Maryland at Indiana
Wake Forest at Purdue
Northwestern at N.C. State
Virginia Tech at Iowa
Michigan State at North Carolina

Dec. 2nd:
Boston College at Michigan
Duke at Wisconsin
Florida State at Ohio State
Illinois at Clemson
Minnesota at Miami, Florida

I also think this is the year that the Big Ten takes that Big Ten/ACC Challenge.

Any of the Pre-Season tournaments have anyone extremely intrigued? (LINK: http://sports.espn.go.com/ncb/news/story?id=4314178)
