I don't think I'm going to post anymore on the teamliquid blog section.
I thought it would be fun to talk about Starcraft and talk to other people who love Starcraft, but apparently, I was wrong. Maybe I just got off on the wrong foot by trying to be "funny" by saying things such as "If I get good at Starcraft, I'll be all the rage at parties" and "I love talking about myself" and poking fun at self-obsessed narcissists, but again, I was wrong; just so so so wrong.
People are so stupid and mean... and *I* have to take the flaming from various assholes because some guy with apparent psychological damage had to pretend to be a girl from Scandinavia.
I had no idea that guys impersonating girls was such a widespread epidemic. I mean, why would they do that?? To have other guys flirt with them? So they can get into some stupid clan? That's like a middle schooler thinking he's good at Baseball all of a sudden because he's the ballboy for the New York Yankees.
So, anyhow, don't worry. I won't post anymore blogs to troll up this site, because the last thing I want to do is cause trouble. |

That's the problem with the Internet, you never really know if people are being sincere or just "trolling".
To be honest, i have to say that i'm thorn 50-50 on whether you are actually some retarded guy creating unnecesary drama just for the "lulz" or wheter you're just a girl that felt offended by an (somewhat) unfriendly welcome to an almost all guys forum.

Anyone taking offense on the internets, especially on teamliquid, is either:
a) new to the internet
b) around 14 years old or younger
c) stupid
I was gonna add "a girl" as an option. But chances are if you're a girl starcraft player, or into starcraft at all, you've already dealt with this shit at least a hundred times by now and you should be used to it and/or immune to it.
Which leaves us with the three other options. |

I really can't see how this particular thread could be anything other than a troll thread. I mean, I'm trying to grapple with the content, but it inevitably leads me back to the fact that if you actually felt like there was this oppressive social force working against you to prevent certain off the wall comments that you would have decided to not post this either.
Unless you were fishing for emotional support, which you probably shouldn't rely on the internet to supply. |

The blog section is generally a bit less moderated than other places on TL (not that anything goes, but there are stricter standards in the other forums). If people are bugging you on your blog, you can self-moderate it by banning them from your blog so they no longer post.
As mentioned before, people have a history of disbelieving girls until they provide solid proof due to Zia (and there have been others in the past too, Zia is just the most famous). Personally I disbelieve gender until I've actually spoken with them (like over vent). |
