So I previously had a program that altered my SC's computer AI... and since then I've deleted the program. The problem is that the AI is still altered... and it starts with 2000 minerals and 2000 gas every time I play a custom game in single player. Does this sound familiar to anyone?
If anyone knows what program it was that did this I would appreciate it.
I think it also had cd-key changer capabilities as well as other small functions.
If I can't find that program again, then I guess anyone who knows how to change the AI back would be helpful too.
Thanks |

| You could either figure out which files have been modified, find the original files on the web and replace them using WinMPQ, or you find that program again and hope it has a un-mod feature, or you can simply reinstall SC. |

| Not a good idea to place this in the general forum, might want to move this to Broodwar or as a Blog. Last edit: 2009-11-06 19:01:20 |

| Wait the Blizzard AI follows build orders based on scripted times and attacks, not on actual mineral count. If you are only playing the regular AI then this makes absolutely no change in their actions. |

Scripts:
Toss: 2 base MASS CANNONZ << wut? 3 gate 15 zealot push
Terran: MFM push Some weird sort of MM/vult/tank push
zerg: ling rush hydralurk style push
After those initial 'scripts'... free for all. Sometimes it seems to counter what you're doing with all sorts of units. |

Don't forget the rare but occasional DT rush for P. P also seems to be the only race that has a script to adapt to a DT rush, they will get cannons/obs.
T always does the MnM push followed by the MnM and tank push.
The 'ling rush' is a 4 pool. |

I seem to recall his program allowed you to change the AI, but don't recall the cd-changer. What has happened is your patch_rt.mpq has been modified.
If I can't find that program again, then I guess anyone who knows how to change the AI back would be helpful too. Well because your program has been altered, I'd say the best thing would be to reinstall as was suggested and avoid these kinds of "mods" that alter your installation files.
A quick fix would be to use something like a "downgrader" or other patcher that will restore your installation to the default files. Here is one such program. Pick 1.16.1 as that is the option that will restore your installation to Bnet default. http://broodwarai.com/tools/BWAIDowngrader.zip + Show Spoiler +
If you still have troubles, send me a pm at my site or make a thread there and I'll gladly help you out further as I'm not as active here as I should be!
Btw, none of our "AI" programs would ever alter your Strarcraft as we don't use that method.
Gluck, and stay away from that crap you downloaded!

Haha it's always fun to ZvT a comp, attack with like 6 lings -> run away -> they make 20 firebats -> come in with mutas
hilarious. |
