I agree completely. But at the same time, I wonder if there aren't a ton of good, indie bands out there that would LOVE the exposure you could give them. I wouldn't know how to get in contact with these folks, but I imagine you just ask your stream for if they know of anyone. It kind of surprises me that more streams don't do this. En lieu of playing stuff from Youtube, giving good indie bands exposure seems like a win-win to me.
yeah I agree with you on that. in that case, obviously the artists are giving you their approval, and so it's fine, and mutually beneficial. unfortunately, I'm not such a good resource on small bands and getting their approval would be a bit inconvenient. In any case, I think a stream is better off without having music mixed in. I want to give you game sounds and sometimes my commentary and you can mix your own music in as you like.
Hmm good point I hadn't thought of that, although I do miss your musical taste I suppose I have my own taste as well. |

tyler, i actually want to thank you for being one of the few streamers not to play music or talk the whole time. i realize sometimes people like that stuff (and i do usually like your commentary when you do it) but i really like having just game sounds plus my own music when i watch your stream. i usually end up having to just mute the people who play their own music.
also your pvt phoenix play looks as sick as ever, keep up the good work! |
