since when can you hear facial expressions? either this is a mistake on the writers part or it's something to keep in mind.

I think right now its good to keep in mind this clue discussion, and most especially the players' reactions - but we also need to elect a mayor and there's been a bit less discussion about that. Can anyone vouch for citizen from the game he's talking about? I'll read through it but I always enjoy a 2nd opinion. I wouldn't mind voting for citi, i10f, or Ver. Ace or L mayor is too much drama for me and probably the rest of the town too

I don't know man, maybe the mafia would pick someone they think is likely to be rolechecked. Because the goal of either mafia team is to eliminate the other one, and the town doesn't matter to them insofar as they don't kill any town members. So if their gf somehow gets checked and the info makes it around (as it usually does), maybe that person is less likely to be targeted by any team. Just some food for thought here, I don't think we should be ruling out high profile characters as GF candidates yet. The thing about rolechecks this game is that the dt will have to be very careful about who to reveal the information to and when. Unlike in standard games, having the information publicly known might not be a good thing for the town, since we don't want to aid any one of the mafia teams to victory before we can eliminate them. What we should do is use rolechecks to aid in the categorization of Caller's groups. When we can rolecheck key posters from a group, it might be easier to analyze the rest without wasting rolechecks on them.

All game, redtooth, you've struck me as innocent. But it sounds like here you're pushing pretty hard for the mafia coveted pardoner seat by drawing attention to L. You are saying "better give me the pardoner seat, because L might be mafia!" - but it works in reverse too. It's hard not to question your motive for posting that

L is the safest of the other candidates (outside of maybe BM) but he's still not overly safe. that's why i want him to be mayor. i've said the reason why i don't want ver to be elected many many many times. especially as pardoner... really what are you doing... you're giving Ver a chance to be pardoner with no reason as to why you should trust him any more than the next guy. sure he's smart and sure he's helped with some useful but really what are you doing? i've logically proven why i can't reasonably be mafia. Ver has played well, something he does whether he is mafia or not. what are you doing? taken from the Myers-Briggs Thread (I'm an INTJ btw): well they don't... I'm trying to point out to you that saying "don't let L be pardoner, he could be mafia. Let ME be pardoner instead!" doesn't mean anything - for all anyone knows you could be red trying to make sure you get the pardoner spot. if anyone doesn't see this, then they are dumb, and you would be dumb if you thought nobody would notice it. Your entire claim of innocence lies on the fact that you stepped into the Ace/L argument as a 3rd party and defended Ace. Clearly, someone who was red would never defend a player like Ace so therefore you must not be red! That is a circular form of reasoning, e.g. wine in front of me as I believe it is called. For a while i thought your alignment was pretty clearly town as well (though for other reasons than you), but your recent zeal for obtaining the pardoner spot has seemed a bit out of character.

I am very happy to see L and Redtooth not getting along, but they both seem to be getting along with Ver. Ver even said to me that he was voting for redtooth because he trusts him the most, but that if he had a second vote he would vote for me.... I just don't know. It seems like a load of shit to me. The town needn't trust anyone so blindly sometimes i wonder if you're reading the same thread as everyone else

If you really are innocent you need to be more careful because the things you have said in the thread can be misconstrued. and i'll play your little game. IF you were mafia... Ace would be green L would be red - opposite team, unless he's trying to just play a heel off you right now Caller - green, his posting this game has been consistently good Chez - green Ver - red on your team. maybe? i can never read him anyway But, I never said I thought you were mafia. Of course it could have been inferred, but really I explained the point of my posts above so don't just assume I called you red

Just reminding everyone that this means one of three things: a) Ver is town-aligned b) Ver is on Mafia X and took a hit from Mafia Y c) Ver is on Mafia X or Y who stacked hits on someone else now dead and are having Ver claim that he took a hit last night to gain admittance into townie circles. Their likeliness or unlikeliness doesn't matter. They're all possibilities. I'll help with the profiles in a moment. d) Ver was hit by a mad hatter bomb placed by BC.

This possibility wouldn't exclude BC getting double hit and ver (if he's telling the truth) absorbing a hit from last night. The hits would still add up to 6. He was killed when he opened his door ... by a bunch of metal sharp objects. Now I don't know how much you guys know about homemade bombs ... but if you want to increase their killing power you pack them with small metal objects to act as shrapnel. This could also explain the hole in the wall. There was a mafia member talked about in the paragraph ... but nothing of really important detail. He knocked on the door but was nowhere to be seen when zato opened it and was killed. I think its either possible that the mafia member used a bomb to kill him (for a clue) or it was a bomb of BC (from madhatter ability). It definitely sounds like shrapnel or glass or something like that. But in previous games when someone has died form a mad hatter bomb, the day post says something at the end like "and mysteriously, on the other side of town, Infundibulum exploded in a shower of blood while he was sleeping!." So I'm pretty sure this is a mafia killer. We don't even know if BC placed a bomb last night anyway, though i wouldn't be too surprised if had placed it on Ver due to their disagreements in the thread.

Based upon discussion from Day 1 it was apparent that BC actually believed that Ver had the best platform for candidacy, and also believed that if Ver lynched BC, that it would look really bad. And besides if he had placed a bomb on Ver then Ver would be dead, which he's not. BC also said he thought Ver was playing very out of character with his phishing PMs and what not (even if it's not truly out of character, he seemed to think it was). Ver also says he was protected last night. Based on the structure of the Day post the most sensible sequence of actions must have been that both mafia teams hit BC, and BC had a bomb on Ver who was protected. The only reason i think this is because of the last passage where they find the spike in BC's body, which makes it sound like he was killed by two different things. On the other hand, when two factions target the same person (e.g. a vigi and the mafia), usually whoever sent in the kill first gets written into the day post and the other faction is left our entirely. So this would be a new strategy from Incog, where both parties were included in the writeup. The other possibility is that Ver was hit and protected, and BC placed no bomb. However, we have all been over this before so there shouldn't be any need to explain it.

The difficult part is gauging peoples motives when there are 3 sides. It isn't so easy to say that one he's just being voted off by townies, and the mafia groups are spreading their votes around. On the other hand there has really been no strong defense of Mystlord. This means to me that either he is not affiliated with either mafia, or if he is mafia maybe his team has resigned to let him die. Or L will pardon him, but I doubt that. Either way, I'm gonna vote for Nemy to express my complete dissatisfaction with the proceedings thus far, even though he won't die. We can be like 99% sure that BC didn't place the bomb on zato-1. Mad hatter kills aren't written in as clues.
