Is anyone else getting this problem where you're in the loading screen, put in your account, and hit enter and it says "The game is currently waiting for a response from Battle.net. The service may be temporarily unavailable or your internet connetion may be down."
Then after like 10-15 seconds it pops up a second window saying "Can't connect to Battle.net. Battle.net may be temporarily unavailable or your internet connection may be down. Please check your connection and try again later."
I have this with my own account, when I tried logging on my cousin's account, it at least lets me put in the email address, and then I put in the password and hit enter, and then no progress is made.
I've had beta sinec patch 8 and it worked fine in patch 8, I'm trying to figure out what the hell is going on, because this seems to be an issue taht showed up on the battle.net forums but there have been zero responses. I can't even say that I have a similar issue, because I don't have a character (haven't logged in since patch 9 wipe to make one) so it won't let me post.
What the hell is going on, a friend told me that they just tried logging in a 2nd time and it worked, but I've tried over 50 times now and it just won't seem to connect. My internet connection is fine, someone help me out -.- |

If you're loading the game through Steam or Xfire or anything like that, just load it normally.
Otherwise try typing in the password wrong on purpose, then login with the correct password.
No idea why these might work, but the first got me past a problem where the patcher would crash and the second got me past the problem you described. |

What in gods name are you talking about. I am not loading this game through anything, I'm loading it through the game client. Try typing in the password wrong? I can't even GET to the part where they ask for my password, its saying i can't connect when all it asks for is my email address.
I just logged into my cousins account fine, got into beta perfectly fine, logged out and STILL can't get on my own account. |

I haven't seen one post regarding this on the bnet forums and I can't post there myself since I have no name and identifier since the reset. |

I just made a topic under the name Dragonf.dragonf no reponse...this is starting to piss me off

I am having the same problem.
I live in Canada and I could play perfectly well until I got the new patch 9.
I guess Blizzard knows this problem and we should just wait until they fix the problem.
Even if I type a random account, it still shows the same problem.
In my opinion, battle.net is not able to find out if those accounts have sc2 beta since typing some people's b.net account with beta and writing down random account has the same problem. |
