Thoughts on a 3-0 win?
-Winning is always good. It just makes me even happier than usual I guess.
You were damaged by the Mutalisks in the beginning.
-The Mutalisk timing was earlier than I thought, so I took some damage. But killing the Hatchery 12 o’clock is key. But strangely I was still disadvantaged later.
Why were you disadvantaged?
-One Zealot scouted 1 o’clock, but I didn’t look at the minimap, so I didn’t notice the Zerglings in the natural. If I saw the minimap I definitely would’ve attacked 1 o’clock, I think that’s why I was disadvantaged.
How did you come back from behind?
-When I got +3 attack, the Zerg upgrades were far behind. His army consisted mainly of Zerglings, and if he was behind me on upgrades, it’s difficult for him. Even though he defended my attack on the natural, because of my upgrades, I was able to win in the end.
It’s been a long time since we saw you macro armies into a win.
-Originally I prepared a different strategy, but because of the Mutalisk harassment, and the opponent’s build was totally unexpected, my strategy would’ve been difficult to execute, so I spontaneously chose a simple strategy, just mass Zealots, which led to a lot of excess gas, so I decided to mass Archons and Templars.
Compared to last season, if you want to enter playoffs this season, you can’t lose again.
-We’re at the end of the season, so every game is important. Now, even if lose one, it becomes serious, so we need to win all the games. Also, because of this sense of danger, we will work harder, and focus until the last moment. If so we should have a good result.
Next game is against Woongjin. Do you think you’ll win?
-They’re ranked above us, so if we’re able to win it’d be good. No matter the opponent, winning is the most important. We must win.
Last words?
-It’s been a long time since I played on Judgment Day. I felt CJ would play a Zerg, so I mainly practiced PvZ. Thanks to the coach and teammates, and thanks to the Terran and Protoss players.

Thoughts on two straight wins?
-First off, to be able to contribute to a 3-0 makes me glad. It’s been a long time since we 3-0’ed, I don’t know why, it makes me really happy.
You used a Dragoon-Reaver rush to end the game.
-I used my Observer to scout the opponent Nexus, and I saw Templar tech, so after my Shuttle harass I attacked from the front, and ended it. Snow chose not to get Reavers, so I judged I could win. I think I understood the map better.
Compared to last season, if you want to enter playoffs this season, you can’t lose again.
-Last season we played spectacularly well in R1, R2, but this season, we lost too much in the earlier rounds. If we win all the games left in R5, we still have hope, so we’ll definitely work hard to win everything, and then advance to the playoffs.
That’s to say, you’ll be treating every remaining game as a finals?
-Our entire team is working very hard. When we prepare, we’re not pressured at all, and we have a joyous attitude towards practice. We’re at the edge of the cliff, and everyone knows that, if we lose any games, it’s all over. If we ourselves aren’t happy and confident, then we definitely can’t win. If we’re not light-hearted, we’d be burdened, and nervous. We should be happier.
The next game is against Woongjin.
-I don’t know if I’ll play. The day before there’s OSL prelims, and on that day, there’s MST. But if I can play then no matter who I play against, I’ll win unconditionally. Our backs are against the wall.
The OSL prelims are in 3 days.
-I’m currently practicing hard. For our team, we always treat individual leagues seriously, but unfortunately, a lot of people can’t make it past the Prelims. I personally don’t want to talk about the groups. No matter if the group is good or bad, I still can’t advance, so I guess I’ll wait till I advance before talking about it.
Last words?
-There’s still hope for making the playoffs, so I hope the team works hard together and advance.

Thoughts on a 3-0 win?
-I’m so happy I could dance.
Is your wrist still in a cast?
-No, it’s just a supportive strap now. About three weeks ago, I was playing as goalie, and I wanted to rest a bit, but suddenly they shot. I wanted to dive towards the ball, except it was a bit far from me, so I reached with one hand, and ended up getting injured [laugh] I heard the ligament got damaged, and it can’t heal completely, and there’ll be residual symptoms. So I often go get physical therapy and I take medicine. I’m much better now.
Your Zerglings in the beginning were used well.
-I had a build order advantage. I felt if I didn’t make any mistakes I could win. The map has a long distance, if I could just develop normally like today, I could win, so I knew if I defended the opponent’s attack I’d win.
You beat Effort. Did you know he had a 12-win ZvZ streak?
-I didn’t know originally, but when I was preparing and taking my keyboard out, I saw it on the TV screen. But if I play against a good player, then I have nothing to lose, so I wasn’t nervous. But if the opponent lost to me, it’d be a big loss. Besides, everyone’s the same when a game begins with four Drones.
You did your part for the team in this dangerous time.
-I’m glad about this. I asked to be sent out today. Because I said it myself, it becomes a double edged sword. From my own perspective, I’m not a ace-level player, so if I won, it’d be really beneficial, but if I had lost, then it’d be hard to guarantee more appearances. After my wrist got injured, I’ve changed my line of thought. When I was playing poorly and was on the verge of giving up, I read “Thoughts of a Millionaire” [T/N: Transliterated, couldn’t figure out what the book is] After that, I decided “I want to become a rich man. I will become 100% better on the things that interest me and on my career.” After that day, even if I got mad, I wouldn’t express it, and I would try to live happily.
You’re appearing more and more.
-Recently I got past the Prelims in the individual league, and after winning today, I think the head coach should give me more chances. I hope she’ll give me many chances.
Compared to last season, if you want to enter playoffs this season, you can’t lose again.
-If we lost once, there’d be a good chance we’d be eliminated. Even so I think we can get into the playoffs. Even though people say it’s difficult, I don’t know why, I always feel like the team can do it. In TV dramas, those protagonists would face impossible challenges, but after a bit of effort, they’d be able to succeed. I feel like we’re like that.
Last words?
-Thanks to my team’s Rarity, Lucky, and Odin for helping me practice. Also thanks to Terran Turn, and Brave. He’s currently in a 2 loss streak, and he’s currently being depressed. I think 2 losses isn’t really a losing streak, and I hope he can cheer up. My dad’s birthday is on the 14th, happy birthday to him. Also I hope our team does well in the OSL prelims.
