Funny thing is they also said that acts get shorter as you progress ;p

| there is a level cap in place (13). It takes about 2 hours to reach this cap. |

Actually, there are 4 difficulties: normal, nightmare, hell, inferno. You can go up to lv 60.
Beta is 1/3 or 1/2 of Act I, and max lv. is 13 as far as I know. Most of the streamers get to level 9 or 10 though |

| I hope the act content will be way bigger than in Diablo 2. Replaying acts because of more difficulty levels is NOT real content. Having less or similar content compared to a over 10 years old game would be a terrible joke. Last edit: 2011-09-07 21:54:49 |

I hope it's a bit bigger too, but diablo 3 is pretty much all about playing the same game over and over again and acquiring loot. |

The Pony thing is more likely a WoW joke than anything MLP related. I think somewhere Ghostcrawler promised a pony to ret paladins or something like that (half hearted search - he said it when closing some whine thread, not sure about what), which of course has never been delivered. Been a running joke for awhile. There's even Ghostcrawler promised me a pony t-shirts out there. So yeah, Blizzard gag is a decent possibility.
Probably something like:
"We need a new barnyard animal to slaughter in the secret lol level."
"WoW branch of Blizzard has been promising the playerbase a pony for awhile. How about that?"

Yep. It's all about picking a character and playing out all over until you have got the best build and best loot. The rest is just details.

It was some thread about PvP and OP was basically whining about a class being OP, or expecting a nerf/buff to class X, and Ghostcrawler closed the thread with "Ghostcrawler promised me a poneh" in full caps.
Actually, I'm not sure but 2-3 years ago there was some open-air event going on (man, why can't I remember, was it winter olympics? perhaps) and some people had a poster saying "Ghostcrawler promised me a moose." That was really funny.Last edit: 2011-09-07 23:29:00 |

Nope, its not friend and family beta yet, I have friends and family beta on my b.net account, but its not yet activated. and whoever let nomsayin played on that employee account is going to get fired by blizzard. The CEO of blizzard sent out an email after the one guy posted the youtube video about d3 beta, basically reminding all employee that beta is still under NDA, anyone who breaks the NDA will get fired. Even thou the guy blured out the youtube video's character names and shit, blizzard tracked him down and fired him.

If the F&F beta hasn't started then why is there a blue post on the bnet forums saying "we’ve begun limited external testing with employees and their families?" And on top of that, it says "If you have a beta license, you are free to show, share, or talk about any portion of the beta content to which you have access, as this beta test is not confidential."
