| 500 DPS is on the high end for starting Nightmare. If that is your pre soul harvest damage output you got extremely lucky with gear. |

Yeah, pre-soul harvest. I guess I've been pretty lucky. My 2h weapon that Diablo dropped had 60+ dps after socketing a flawless ruby. I have 1-2 items that give +80 intelligence, most of the others have +20-40.
Using this gear, do I need to grind levels or will I fail a gear check soon? |

They all switch to +magic find gear shortly before the boss is down. In the end they have more than +200% MF and Skeleton King drops like 3 yellows and 8 blues. Dunno if that is working as intended though.
I have a feeling blizzard will disable switching gear in combat, just like they did in WoW. They should have thought about that beforehand though.
Yeah, it's the old 'clever use of game mechanics' all over. Btw, anyone know if something like the Arreat Summit for D2 exists/is going to be up for Diablo 3? I would like to know what the variables are for the modifiers on items. Would be nice to know when you have a perf stat on an item
Almost every MFer in Diablo 2 at least w switched to an mf weapon to finish the boss.
I'm pretty sure they are aware of this and that it is an intended mechanic. |

| You should have zero gear issues with NM act 1 unless you need more vitality/armor to survive. Just be careful to dodge things you can dodge because they tend to do a lot of damage (often one shots, or combos to death). |

Ah okay, thanks for the heads-up.
Anyway, is there any way to look at your character's gear or the auction house without accessing the game (aka at work)? |

I don't think theres anything like that atm, maybe in the future.
Also yeah Nightmare is no level/gear check, it's definitely more challenging than normal but you should clear it without any grinding tbh.Last edit: 2012-05-18 23:27:34 |

Me and some friends are logged in, I think it may be a DNS problem?
edit: I've been able to log out and back in as well as close the game and reopen. However the website is down for me as well. Weird.Last edit: 2012-05-18 23:35:07 |

I bought the game from Blizzard website, but I had just beat Act I before crash. Can someone tell me how to activate to the full version? |
