I know first hand that 6 props definitely nets profit but was wondering because the recipes for 5 props are really cheap
Nope, it sucks. Even most 6 prop sucks cause they cannot have highest dps. I've found 2 6 prop and they only sold for 400k and 1.2M I actually kept the 1.2 (6 prop source) crafted like 10-15 and lost money overall.
6 prop weapons and offhands suck, that's true. However 6 prop armor is pretty good, especially helms and gloves (the ones which can proc the best dps abilities). I've made a few million from crafting and selling 6 prop helms. The relatively good ones sell for 1-2 million (big profit), you can recover a portion of the cost of bad ones by setting an initial bid price of 100.
Yeah armor 6 prop are good, but they sell for like 30M
Yeah i was asking about armor. I have 6 prop belt recipe and ive been making millions. So i guess 5 props cant really do that eh |

Not when I checked it last night after the US patch.
edit: just tried and nope, still works.
edit2: I mean it gives me the cancel option, I haven't actually tried to cancel.Last edit: 2012-06-14 02:02:36 |

It was hotfixed. The cancel button shows up but you get some sort of error if you try to actually cancel it. |

I logged in today to find that I had a friend request from a gold advertising bot (random name as usual along the lings of jkghlj).
I'm fairly certain it was not a RealID request, really wish I had checked that, but either way isn't this strange? Happening to anyone else? Something I should be concerned about? Theoretically they can easily brute force the friend ID# since it's only a 4-digit number, but I'm not sure. |

It's probably because we can leave permanantly the general chat now, so they add you to their friendlist so they can spam you as soon as you're online... |

| Let's say I've found a relatively reliable spot of a Resplendent Chest, and form the start of the game you could get to it in maybe 30 seconds. Would it be worth something to farm it with low mf? |

can someone explain how buying recipes on AH works?
confused by buyout price, average price, and gold refunded after buying a recipe |
| | E-Sports is competitive video gaming with a spectator fan base. Do not take the word "Sports" literally. |

Buyout price = how much you're paying gold refunded = if the same recipe was on sale for cheaper, you'll get refunded the difference. average price = on average how much it typically sells for. |

why not show what is currently the lowest price as buyout? |

| Probably to cut down on people refreshing thousands of times for good deals. If you only update the price every ~5 minutes or whatever that isn't possible. |

Care to share? If you can lure the mobs away, you can easily switch to mf gear and open it for huge profit. You can buy mf gear on the AH anyway.
The only semi-reliable "chest" that I can think of is the quill fiend in A1. |
