This whole thing is glorious. No flying types in the 8th gym either, real men stare down Earthquakes and live to tell the tale.
(100 power 100 accuracy that is some bullshit, seriously)
EDIT- no pogeymans with Levitate either

The DS emulator is kinda laggy though, unless they fixed that?
But yes HG/SS is the remake of Gold/Silver/Crystal, like how FR/LG is the remake of Red/Green/Blue(/Yellow)

Edit 1: upon further research, if you didnt start the game with the save type set at flash 128km, you're pretty much screwed after the elite 4, you cant go further

Kinda sucks yeah. I remember screwing up the save file setting even when I knew I needed to, thinking everything would be ok, and getting smacked in the face by it when I was playing Touhoumon. T_T

if possible this thread should have a pokemon grave yard list documenting all the pokemon who died and how they died fighting the forces of evil
this thread is already one of the most epiciceist i've ever read, and this would just make it all the more complete. |

Hey Antz, guess what time it is! MagicMirror challenges time. Only one pokemon died last time and yet no burial, so for that you must have more challenges.
For the next gym:
1) Only regular potions allowed (aka the ones that only heal 20 hit points).
2) Grass, water, dragon, and flying types are NOT allowed.
3) No switching out pokemon (they are in there gladiator style where they fight until they die).
4) No psychic moves are allowed.
Oh, one more challenge.
5) No hyper beam. |

| AntZ, you can switch the save type right now. Switch to 128k, physically save the game (not the save state). You may have to restart the game or something like that. Just check and make sure your .sav file says 128k. I had to do that for Elite 4 on Emerald. |

I say:
No hyper beam plus the challenge earlier about no flying or levitating pokemon gotta take earthquakes to the face. |

Yeah, I'd just spend much more time leveling one, none will die, and the fight will be a yawnrape

Allow me to only use 3 pokemon, picked by the readers
I cant switch a pokemon out until the game gives me the option to/until I kill one opposing pokermang
