You definitely should publish the map to test it! Lobby and ingame "teams" are not neccesarily the same. A lot of it can be changed (or won't work as expected if left unchanged) in the map's settings.
You can make it easy for yourself and set all available options to "locked" or "fixed" but then you might lose the ability to drag people in the lobby and one may not want that  |

| Anyone knows the name of a new melee map? It is a small 1v1 map that looks kinda twilight with teal colours and a floating fish in the air.. O_o Diamonds and rocks and stuff. Players start in one of two corners.. ANyone knows? |

Im looking for a map that I can practice marine kiting vs large zealot/archon group alone (1 player)
Ie. create marine for myself , create lots of zealot on the other side. a move the toss army while i control my own.

| I am trying to open Bel'shir Beach (Winter) with Starcraft 2 Map Editor, although I can't seem to find it in any of my computer directories. I deduced that even if I can play that map online, because it's locked I can't find it with the editor. Does anyone know of a location I can download the winter edition of Bel'shir Beach from? You can't find it for download because the author doesn't want it to be found, for good reasons too. There was a controvercy a while back on TL about this with the result of people getting banned etc. so you should probably just let go of it. Why would you even want the map in the editor? |

| Hey, I was making a basic map and have been adding campaign units to it and adding campaign upgrades and stuff. It worked for 6 published versions and in the last patch it went up 12 MB and is exceeding the size to publish. Ive looked online and have not been able to find any useful information, I would be happy to upload the map to a file sharing website for you to take a look at. Thanks in advance. |

If your just looking to play on the map then search 'mlg' or 'gsl' in create game and they will show up. |

Hmmm... you should have that option. It's the program, not the OS that has the preferences option.
Are you sure you're looking in the right place? If you open a map, then go to the upper left and click file then there should be a preferences option in the drop-down. |
