You should certainly add "apologize for the way you played last game" from the second IdrA-Silver game to the quotes section.
It comes across as BM and it is but what it demonstrates is a commendable desire for the talented and smart and hard-working to be rewarded. |

Wow you guys are retarded.. When you play a strategy game the point is to focus on your strengths and your opponents weakness. Zerg is a very fragile race but has a lot of potential and IdrA focuses on that strength to its fullest which makes him a smart player.
And to all of those who care about him not saying gg, you must have no life. OMGGGG DIS GUI ON TEH INTERNETZ DOESN'T SAY GG OMG MOM MORE POPTARTZ!!! |

Awesome guy.. And he's honest when it comes to T being overpowered.
I dislike noobs listening to Husky/HD who flames IdrA for a little BM, then go: "OMFG I CAN'T HAVE MY OWN OPINIONS, I HATE IDRA TOO!"

I am a huge fan of Idra's play.
I do wish the community cared more about mutual respect and sportsmanship. I have a hard time imagining esports growing much when top players like Idra act the way they do and get respected/cheered for it. It will be hard for anybody to take esports seriously when there is a complete lack of professionalism, sportsmanship and respect from one of the top players and their fans. It is unfortunate how many here seem to be a fan just because of his poor manners and lack of respect for others. The community is essentially encouraging BM and I can't imagine anything positive coming from this "Idra's rage is AWESOME!!!!" attitude that so many here are embracing.
Our community should hold higher standards for top players. We should be demanding it if we care about esports growing. |
