Idra's roach timings are actually pretty good as far as I know. It's the decision making with them that loses him games. Neural against Mothership is close to impossible against a player with good control, I feel. Huk's control is top notch, so I don't see him fucking up so bad taht Idra got in range with infestors.
Screw that, his gas timings are consistently horrible, upgrade wise aswell ZvP And he was in neural range, but did not pay attention to his infestors and got them all vortexed. Also iDra engages like a blind three legged drunken cow
Why would you say his gas timings are bad? He DID neural several times, and GUESS WHAT, HUK DOESNT SUCK SO HE SNIPED THEM OR VORTEXED BEFORE INFESTORS GOT IN RANGE. Frustration is taking over

You can easily change it so its more recent. 2012 it has been 58% win rate for zerg
i haven't seen a single game in an event this year played of shattered. it's removed of t and p can both turtle to 3/4 bases easily compare to new maps. zerg cant take 3rd in zvp or you can die to any 2 base all in. terran can sit tanks between gold and main for as long as they want. do you not veto this map on ladder as z? i know most zergs do because its t or p favoured in these matchups.

I point to statistics that say it is, you say they're too outdated. Someone points out that even this years statistics are skewed for Zerg, and you still won't budge so w/e. You also assume I'm a hater for w/e reason, even though I like seeing Idra do well and have probably watched his stream and studied his replays way more than you.

Yeah because idra is just terrible at fungaling away things. HuK in the shakuras game, just walked a naked mothership and vortexed 8 infestors. Cleanly. Why idra was away from his spines, why he had so poor broodlords placement is beyond anyone of us.
And his gas timnigs in ZvP is overall terrible when going roach, he takes it too early and always have shitty upgrades over the course of the game. |

Oh, do you maybe think he vortexed the infestors becase vortex has 2 range more than neural? We've always known that Idra's army management is less than stellar, but neural against mothership is insanely hard to pull off no matter who plays it.
Point me to a game where his gas timings when going roach is bad. Really, I haven't seen a game he failed at gas timing when going roach |
