I am, and always will be, cheering for you IdrA. You have a lot of loyal fans who'll stick with you no matter what. You were the first player I took interest in during the beta. I cheered for you then, I cheer for you now.
Hwaiting! |

I believe I have had an epiphany. After mid-game vs Terran he seems to pretty much abandom zerglings. Going Ultra's isn't as bad as people make it, but it really is when you don't have ling support.
Also another thing I noticed in ALOT of his losses was how many dam infestors he throws away vs P and T.
Is it just me or have others noticed these things?
hes gotten better at keeping them alive... >.> |

Na, he lost a fuck ton last nite vs Morrow.
Also at times he would end up with 12 ultras (with 3 to 4 of them under 25% health) maybe 15 lings and 1 or 2 infestors.Last edit: 2012-05-08 07:01:42 |

Yeah, he definitely threw away a lot of infestors yesterday, and he seemed to insist on reinforcing with ultras - I suck and he doesn't so there was probably a reason, but if you've just won a massive battle, max out on lings really quickly and do even more damage before your opponent can remax, no?
Still, while so many other people seem to be using the loss as proof of him 'failing' even more, I was reasonably happy. Yeah, obviously if he won it would have been better, and maybe I was just so tired that I missed stuff (started at 4am ) but he looked like he was playing a lot better, and he could have won games 2 and 3 imo, with a few different decisions. I'm taking positives from that. Him looking so sad afterwards made me sad though
But yeah, my first post here, but I'm definitely a fan - he's the reason I switched to Zerg ^^ |

Yeah I agree. The only reason to remax on ultras is if your having larva problems.
Im only low-masters but when I play Ultra I try to have roughly a 15:1 Ling to Ultra ratio at bare minimum a 10:1.
Something else I don't get when people play fast double upgrades ling/infestor is why they dont get 4 queens to inject rather than 3, I've noticed it really helps with late game larva after your initial remax when your usually down to 20 or less. |

trust me, hes gotten better at keeping them alive most of the time he lost them more becuase of morrows competence then idras incompetence |

| For the gift basket, we'll need a bit of extra help because we most likely will not be able to ship it to the PO Box. For sure, we cant ship it to the PO box if there's wine in it. We'll need to setup a paypal with someone in EG or close to EG that can place the order to the Lair address. |

Unfortunately I cannot give out our address in any way.. I'd recommend breaking up the package into smaller boxes and sending those to the PO box? We have received large boxes before.. unless you plan on sending a car I think this should be fine
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Original Message From LingBlingMuta: Hey we have some people in the Idra fanclub who are wanting to get together an *appreciation* basket of sorts, and maybe some cards etc, to show our appreciation.
Where you come in is that we are doubtful of whether or not we can ship such a big shipment to your guys' PO Box.
If you could actually pm Whole (the current operator of Idra's FC) and maybe set something up, we would love you! (not that we don't :-))
Anyways, any help is greatly appreciated!

So basically what I think we should do is probably have Whole (if he is willing) take all our donations once we agree on what we are going to do and either A) Mail it to the PO box or B) see if anyone is willing to deliver it to him at Anaheim.Last edit: 2012-05-08 08:33:11 |

So, the default option is to have the person managing the paypal order to his/her house and to send it via regular mail asap. |

Yeah I think so, also I just heard that Idra actually got some really bad news so we should try to get this out before the end of the week.
Hopefully Whole gets on and is willing to handle this, I think that would be the best case scenario, then just mail it to the PO Box.Last edit: 2012-05-08 09:31:47 |

what if one of us coordinated with someone in the EG Lair and had them place the order so the address would never be public. I'm basically thinking that a separate paypal gets setup and managed by someone like Anna or Incontrol and we just tell them what to order.Last edit: 2012-05-08 10:45:59 |
