I really don't understand why you would do this. Seems like a massive waste of time to me.

yeah i dunno if its cause a GM saw my post on the official forums and found the game and closed it or if the 9 hour and 6 minute mark is the official max time a game can last.. lol! But in the end we both didn't lose points and i guess it just doesn't show on our record.. lol

cool story bro

I would have done the same thing, honestly. Of course, I take anything as a challenge, and once got a high score on Super Rub-a-Dub on PS3 because my friend challenged me to it.

haha none of us was there at the end obviously i think that dude just went somewhere else cause he never came back. When i was watchin the replay apparently he said something like "I NEVER DISCONNECT, I RATHER DIE THEN LEAVE" hahaha i guess he was living up to his name of Relentless

09:06:07 hours are exactly 32 767 seconds so thats probably the reason u both dropped
|
good to see theres finally a way to Draw in SC2. Now all Blizzard needs to do is make it a little faster than 9 hours.
|
im pretty sure if you drop you end up with a loss... at least thats what has been happening to me.
|
it says "loss" on my match history main page but i didn't lose any points.

I cropped that image.. but as you can see it says loss yet no points lost which wouldn't make sense.. so it was a loss but not a normal one

I had a cannon rush stalemate where i killed his main after he cannon rushed me, he had no probes, no units, no money, i had 2 zealots and 1 pylon left in my main his cannons couldnt reach and with 2 zealots couldnt kill his 3 cannons. I would have left but it genuinely was my last game before going out so i decided to make him wait for his cheese win, saying if he wanted to waste my time by not bothering to play straight id waste his, so i went out and left the game on. Came back to a win :D

Blizzard has run into similar problems with signed integers before (WoW Gold Cap), so it wouldn't surprise me if that's the case here.
(For anyone not familiar with the number, 32,767 is the maximum size of a signed 16-bit integer.)
|
does that mean 10 hour RPG maps are not allowed?
