I listen to a lot of podcasts at work, and recently picked up listening to this one. I love it that there is a Starcraft podcast with high ranking players, but the format of the podcast needs tuning. I would suggest three things:

1) Before the podcast starts, decide what can and cannot be discussed. Having the host to constantly ask "if that is alright with you..." or "I know that you don't want to seem like a whiner" makes it seem like JP is trying to force information out of his guests. Doing this will also remove the awkward pauses where no one is willing to answer.
2) When discussing patch changes, give an overall impression of them before criticizing individual aspects. For example, when discussing the Zealot change, consider the buffs the protoss receive indirectly from the Reaper, Bunker and Tank nerf. That way you don't have to backtrack to how protoss are affected by the terran changes. Looking at the patch notes before the podcast in preperation be rad too. You guys completely missed the Ultralisk ram attack removal.
3) Divide the show into clearly divided segments to improve pace and breed familarity with the podcast. And announce the segments in a obvious manner. It'll make consumption easier and make referencing specific parts of the show simpler.

Those things aside, I am looking very much to future podcasts.

Question to future podcasts:
@Question Nydus Worms were pitched as the cool new mechanic to increase the mobility for the zerg the same was warp-in would for the protoss. Do you (zerg person) feel cheated that they did not deliver that promise?

EDIT: proper question format

Just wanted to throw out a quick thanks to you for keeping this podcast consistently good, Jp. SotG is easily my favorite "place" (for lack of better term) to read/listen/watch/whatever people discuss SC2. Keep up the great work!

Hey sir! Thanks for the criticism. We do discuss what can or can't be discussed before the show. A lot of people think we just wing it but I actually make a "script" so to speak haha. The patch change stuff was because someone had to leave and we were hurrying along through it. And lastly, I need someone to make me some cute audio cues so I can use those when we change into another topic

I might be able to make that happen -- I'm just not sure how much English he speaks.

I'm in agreement with the people who suggested PsY. Great Zerg player and he's quite a character.

Been listening to the SOTG podcasts since beta. Great show. This last one was pretty hilarious.

I really liked that this time around the guests were very willing to share their thoughts on balance as opposed to the last podcast. But one thing I would like to see is a bit more debate between the guests. I noticed there was a small difference in opinion between day9 and cauthon in this show and day9 was extremely diplomatic about it. I think it would be good to hear opposing views from the top players without worrying so much about being diplomatic. Civil (and time limited) debate would be something I would love to hear more of.

Other than that, keep up the good work.

Good show. It was very refreshing to hear players give their real opinions. It usually seems like they are being overly diplomatic to put it mildly.

Don't really agree on this, think it might make it less relaxed and take alot of the random fun out it. Like number 1 and 3 more specifically. Number 2 I kinda agree with though the relaxed manner at the moment is not bad in my opinion. I'm scared this might turn the whole show totally serious and might not have all the laughter attacks that always comes randomly at total random stuff like the fun that everyone is often trying to be a bit politically correct about balance but then make jokes about it all over
Meh

From watching his stream, his english is pretty good, it's just awkward. For example, instead of saying "The terran beat me" he says "The terran win me." He doesn't say "I'll pick Zerg" he says "I'll take Zerg. "You can completely understand what he means, he just says it in funny ways. He's also ridiculously polite/nice and I believe he's been playing with players on the US server like Trump & Kawaiirice some.

Maybe you could just do a segment with him, but he brings a perspective that nobody else really can being Korean and playing on the Korean ladder, and also playing Zerg. If you take the time to talk to him beforehand, I'm sure you can gouge it- I wouldn't want him to be on as a "joke" I think he has a lot to offer the show.

the 2 hour episode was nice, kept me busy although i know 2hours is not on your agenda anytime soon (lol)... so maybe an hour, hour and a half...?

Na, it'll be a hilarious podcast if you make him use Babelfish and Microsoft Sam to talk with. Seriously though, good work with the podcast. It's been great to listen to while commuting to university campus for me.
