Well I don't follow the Twitter crowd, so I wouldn't know anything about the tweets. All I can judge on is the show. They covered a highly topical and controversial subject and they didn't have anyone sitting there shouting at Orb and calling him names or w/e. It was dealt with in the typical SotG way of everyone just putting opinions out there in a fairly constructive way imo.
I really think you are reading beyond the lines and seeing stuff that isn't there and letting a personal dislike cloud your judgement of the situation. |

yup, I really dislike JP. He never has anything of value to say and is a terrible host. Too bad djWheat is very much the same. I wish Day9 or someone else smart enough would make a good SC talk show...

He made it sound like Orb had the incident within the 2 days he was actually inside the EG house to then find out it was from over a year ago, sorry but to me that's like the prime example of being unprepared and that's the only reason i responded in this topic, talk about dumb.

Being unprepared =/= being dumb.
When you host a hugely popular LIVE show, getting together people across the world with busy schedules and prepare intro's into topics at short notice like JP does while getting everything 100% correct, then come back and tell us how clever you are.
Until then, do not call JP 'dumb' tbh. It's just rude.

Actually I was pretty happy with how they handled the whole orb thingy. Professional and without trying to put prb into a corner.
They let him state his side of the story, and the others added some of their opinions, especially also about messaging sponsors. It is only when something bad happens that ppl turn into sissies and message sponsors asap before they even message the team, but those ppl dont msg sponsors if they are happy with the team, do they? Such unprofessional behaviour of eSports fans makes me sad. |

But i don't see what "hosting" is actually done/necessary when listening to this show... Except bringing up new topics... Which could be done in a miriad of other ways. He tends to stop to much SC/BW discussion, which is a contra for me ^^.
Well, i like the show and JP is probably doing important stuff before/after the show which im thankfull for, I just don't see a reason for him actually being in the show/picture ^^. |

Exactly. He is awesome but his cheap equipment didn't actually let him be awesome, but more annoying.
Anyway, this show for me was "bla bla bla Orb speech bla bla bla Stephano awesome bla bla bla bla". After Nony said that he will have to run from the show also I just closed it. It's a shame though. Nony without SOTG would have been "Nony who?". |

I didn't like JP too much when I first started watching the show, but now I think he's pretty awesome. He would be in my list of "Top 5 people in e-sports you'd like to grab a beer with", WhiteRa would of course be #1. |

Agreed. He was pretty awesome the first couple times, because he is quite smart.
But with such a shitty microphone, fuck that.
iNcontroL or Artosis should always be on the show for some dramatic and always hilarious moments. You guys let Stephano off way too easy.
