We can define manboy two ways. A man who acts and behaves as if he were a boy (i.e. immaturely) or a man who looks a lot younger than he is.
Now my current boyfriend fits into category 2, so that answers 2 and 3. I am not a manboy and 5 will depend on definition.
For definition 1, I would not date one. But if someone just likes playing videogames etc, thats fine (not immature). A failure to take on responsibility for ones life is the big red alert sign.
If someone is a man, and acts like a boy, the behavior might be cute or endearing, but as a child or younger brother figure, not as a boyfriend. I like emotional maturity and if someone doesn't have that, then it wont work. So I do not find definition 2 attractive.
5, like I said, I have a manboy (in terms of looks) for a boyfriend. I am probably a bit too old for boyboys now, and manman, I can get behind that if you know what I mean

I can't remember if we touched on the topic of manscaping but I, for one, find that a guy, who is already fairly boyish looking, has no body hair at all, I feel like a pedophile. I try to be as open minded as possible with meeting people but if you are 23 and have the body of a hairless 15 year old, I might pass you up as a potential mate.

1) I think to me, a manboy is a man who behaves boyishly (ie, not behaving his age)
2) Probably, depending on to what extent is his boyish behaviour
3) Like 2), to some extent, I like a guy who knows how to be a kid sometimes and have fun. I don't think I can date a man who takes himself seriously all the time...way too intense

Even more so because I'm currently reading a book set in 1960s Taiwan (I know, I know, not the same as Singapore, but it's close to the heart) about a gay kid kicked out of his dad's house. (Called "Crystal Boys," in fact one of the first gay novels published in East Asia in the 1980s. There's also a superb miniseries based off the book that's the best gay-themed film/show I've ever seen, but unfortunately no English subs past Episode 4 -- and there are 20 episodes -- so if you can't understand Mandarin & Taiwanese, you might be a bit lost. Might do a review of it later ... it's making me cry a lot.)
Anyways, long tangent aside ... I'm happy to see the progress East Asia has made in accepting LGBTQ members.

It has the message we like, so we support it, but that doesn't change the fact that it wasn't a declaration of law, or the establishment of a precedent, it was an opinion made by a man who happens to be our president.

President Obama "coming out" about marriage equality was a political move through the center. It has the message we like, so we support it, but that doesn't change the fact that it wasn't a declaration of law, or the establishment of a precedent, it was an opinion made by a man who happens to be our president.

This is exactly what I was trying to explain to my friend a few weeks ago when the Obama comment was still a hot topic. He said it was groundbreaking and that it sets some precedent for equality. (He was trying to be supportive)
I was trying to point out that Obama's comment, while nice and comforting, didn't really DO anything super important. I think people should realize and make this distinction because yeah, its nice to hear the president say that, but there isn't any substance behind the comment other than political motivation and probably personal belief.

When prominent figures in the media DO say things in support of equality, it could have an affect on the viewership at large internally. Maybe some kid is struggling and seeing people like Ellen, Obama, Josh Hutcherson, etc, speaking in support helps them. That, to me, seems like the greater positive.
The harder fight is getting the support within the lawmaking bodies. I'm sure 90% of it is just stall time for election seasons. People just playing around with people's rights for more money and votes.
