Regarding Incognito's death: As he turned the corner around a bookshelf a dagger pierced his heart. As he died he could feel cold steel pierce his body from every direction, ending his life cruelly.
Body made of swords is the only thing I've found so far that seems to relate to this bit.

Right now, it is the best lead we got. I don't have one specific in my mind right now (that's why I don't vote yet). But I have some idea... Firstly, because the Mafia and Vampire knows who are on the same team with them, they would want to deflect the blame if a person in his team is suspected. A person who rashly accuses other person could be a Mafia or a Vampire, especially on Day 1. Note that this is not about presenting suspicious players' profiles. But it's more about looking at only one profile and making an accusation without analysis or with an over-analysis. Secondly, I believe that there's old-school player here so we might be able to check their previous post first before making an accusation. Analyzing the old posts in previous games might become useful if you have time to do it. LOL. YOU JUST ADMITTED YOU'D BUDDY WHEN MAFIA, AND YOU'VE BEEN DOING IT WITH MASQ. I DON'T MEAN TO BE FUNNY WITH HALLOWEEN-REFERENCES, BUT THAT WAS REALLY THE NAIL IN YOUR COFFIN MR VAMPIRE LOL i thought spamming in caps was against tl rules Not really spamming...

Kind of hilarious how much people try to read into everything that's said here. I suppose it makes sense, it just kinda surprised me. That being said, it seems that until the first night, we don't really have any information to work with. So whether we lynch Masq or Veldril or coag or whoever, it's pretty much a blind guess. Seems that the blues would be pretty reluctant to make any moves toward finding each other/townies yet, but perhaps not. The only people who strike me as having a great deal of incentive to post would be the mafia/vamps, to try to stir the pot and get people jabbing at each other.
My analysis might be way off, but hopefully it's at least somewhat useful. I'm sure somebody will decide that this fingers me as scum, but whatever. They'll probably say that mentioning somebody accusing me is trying to preempt that, too. Oh god, everything I say just makes it worse. Owel, I'm noobie at this, and reading all the paranoid back-and forth is fun.

Looks like most people are still leaning towards Masq/Veldril, I'm not convinced that it's really that important which one gets lynched tonight. I think either one has enough cause to be a reasonable guess, and guessing's pretty much all we have at this point. Pandain did bring up some interesting points about Heaven on Earth, though. Something to keep in mind.
Seems to me like Bill Murray is being super-aggressive and just lashing out at whoever seems like an easy target. He is apparently a veteran Mafia player, so maybe another vet could comment on whether that's typical for him? I'm perfectly willing to buy that it's just his style of posting, but it's definitely the most striking thing I've noticed from him. His change in position on Veldril seems especially weird, basically going from 'lynch the fucker' to 'maybe he's not so bad after all' in very little time. Perhaps trying to force himself into a position of leadership simply by speaking forcefully? I'm not sure.

People who link to Qatol’s death
#1 Shmotz Ah, computer dating. It's like pimping, but you rarely have to use the phrase "upside your head." - Bender
Is a quote from Shmotz’ profile. I am using it to link him to the death of qatol based on this bolded area
Qatol turned around to defend himself but was met with a hammer. The silver instrument bashed his skull to pieces and the tall figure laughed maniacally as Qatols head crumbled into dust.
#2 Glasse Has a picture of Kirby in his profile picture, and Kirby is holding a mallet/hammer.
Links to the same quote as shmotz
#3 Metalface Picture of dr doom in his profile
Would also reference to the same method of killing.
For these three cases of qatol’s killer, #1 an #3 would laugh at the death, however #1 would have the most fitting laugh.
As such I believe based on the low amount of clues we have thus far, Shmotz killed Qatol.
I know typically from reading a bit of a few games involving clues before that day 1 clues aren't usually solid. However, I was thinking, since there are 22 mafia this game, perhaps the day 1 clues weren't as obscure. I could be wrong, but so far most of the posting has been on the guilt of two players, and i wanted a bit more information to be discussed. As for todays analysis I will start with NB's killer He drank something and froze and as such I think the freezing part is more likely to be a clue as it seems a rarer find. As such I guess that http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/profile.php?user=LucktarIs most likely the killer as his profile picture shows a block of ice around apples (stuff frozen within the ice) and a bear going after it. This seems the best connection I can find on a quick glance through everyones profile. Divinek's profile also mentions hockey (ice rink), but he seems less connected.
Hmm, fair enough, though my pic doesn't have anything liquid as in the death description, so all you've got to go on is 'NB froze... cold... ice is cold... Lucktar!' But I'd say that whether I was scum or not. I haven't been hugely active in the thread, but I don't think I've said anything that would indicate that I'm scum, but we'll see. Not sure how to rebut a clue-based accusation other than with 'that's stupid clue analysis.' Not incredibly compelling. But whatever, take from it what you will.

good probability theres a vamp or two in this list if veld pops vamp. With practically everybody voting Veldril, I don't see why vampires would bother voting on somebody else, especially since, as you said, it'd put a pretty big flag on them. Perhaps a case of WIFOM (I think I'm using that right), but I don't think we can construe a whole lot from these votes.

Well, he was threatened with a modkill. I honestly have no idea what to make of aztrorisk.
The code seems contrived and stupid, but if it's really a red attempt to screw with the town, it seems pretty clumsy to me. I can't imagine reds discussing in IRC how they're going to sow disinformation through the town by posting easily-broken codes naming random conspirators. But that's just me.
I'm guessing aztrorisk is an actual JoL, who doesn't really know the game, and therefore just tries to make things interesting for himself by posting bizarre stuff. See his JoL roleclaim back on day 0, and this whole code nonsense. Does that make it a bad idea to lynch him? I honestly have no idea. If he's red, awesome. If he's JoL, then he's been serious all this time, and who fucking knows who he'd have put the bombs on. If he's green, well, he's just an attention whore and good riddance.

mmk, I can analyze the person above me as well. That'd happen to be jaminz. He claims to be a first-time TL mafia player, but evidently has some experience playing mafia elsewhere. He joined TL in April of this year, and has made 71 posts, 22 of which are in this thread.
Profile Summary: Picture of Calvin from Calvin and Hobbes. Quote from The Sandlot, something something follow your heart. Then in his public profile, he has what look like song lyrics. They seem to refer to The Office, but nothing there really jumps out at me.
On to the quotes. Basically, the great majority of his posts are in 1 of 2 categories: 1. Arguing with/about aztrorisk over his JoL claim, and whether he should be protected, etc, etc. 2. Posting a list of post counts in the thread, pointing out who has yet to post, who the lead posters are, etc.
More on that in a bit, but there was one post that definitely jumped out at me.

O_o i have no clue what you're trying to say, but i'm hoping you're not publicly roleclaiming on day 1. Haha I'm not, don't worry. Just messing with Bill Is this just jaminz screwing around with BM? Is it a soft claim for DT, that he immediately tries to backpedal on? Or is it some kind of disinformation ploy? I'm not sure what to think.
Other than the above exchange, jaminz's posting has been fairly unremarkable. I'm curious whether there's any relation between him and aztrorisk, given the exchange between the two, but I don't know of anything else that would indicate that. His posts summarizing post counts could be a way to try to get townies to trust him without giving anything away, or it could just be an attempt to be helpful.
Voting History: Day 1. Initial vote Veldril, changed to BM. Interesting thing to note, jaminz switched his vote to BM approximately 9 hours before he made his DT 'claim.' 6 hours later, though, he switched his vote from BM to Pandain.
Day 2. Voted Pandain again, switched to glurio (BM's replacement) about 18 hours later.
That's all I can think of for now, nothing in his profile that seems to link up to the clues. I'll post again if I find anything there.

Pandain was brutally slain by the two, torn limb from limb. The town would find his body parts separated and left in neat rows of eight, covered in blood and mud.Could be a coincidence of elements but it's worth noting nonetheless. You didn't actually mention that this was from my profile anywhere. And I'm not sure what you're referring to with the rows bit. Are you getting at the apples, because they're in rows of 4? Oh, and I'm not red.

She drove for a long distance and when she stopped in her driveway she could swear she heard a noise in the backseat. She looked behind her and saw nothing. Her mind was playing tricks on her.
She turned her head back to find something much worse. The man from the cafe was sitting in the passenger seat of her car and had a gun pressed to her temple. The gunshot was silenced, her body wouldn't be found until the morning. This one, I tried finding a connection to coffee and hospital but couldn't find anything in anyone's profile. That clue seemed to be the least obvious to me, but coffee and "Aflred Hitchcock Memorial Hospital" were the two things that stood out. I couldn't find anything to do with coffee either, but I discovered something that may have to do with the second part. I typed it into google and the first link that came up was: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Love_Song_of_J._Alfred_PrufrockAlfred Hitchcock.....Alfred Prufrock? I think it is unlikely that it is a mere coincidence. Actually, I just did a quick google into Alfred Hitchcock. Apparently he's a movie director. So that could actually be a clue that could relate to someone's profile as someone's bound to have a quote or something based on a movie that Alfred Hitchcock directed. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alfred_Hitchcock#1940s_films Hitchcock is a famous horror movie director, I just assumed it was thematic to the town, rather than a clue.
