Hey guys, maybe next show you could do a segment on just a rundown of all things brood war. I want to like it, i can get past the graphics (i have to play sc2 on low) its just i have no idea about the units, their functions, and the maps. Maybe if you could do a more complex rundown of players, i only know jaedong, flash, bisu, boxer, nada, and stork and after that i couldnt name you another past or present sc1 pro. So maybe if you could do a quick rundown i could really enjoy the games.
(i love mech terran and every terran match i have seen in bw has been long macro mech terran so it has been pretty sweet.)

DPI isn't everything. In fact high DPI isn't preferrable in a lot of cases. Also DPI is just the sensitivity, higher DPI = higher sensitivity. This just means you don't have to set your sensitivity as high in game.
Using the Deathadder isn't really "better" because it has higher DPI. The regular Deathadder can be set to 450, 900, and 1800, and most really decent aiming players, and lots of Quake players still use Microsoft IME 3.0s because they prefer low DPI (450dpi). It really makes zero difference. What you want in a mouse is a decent sensor and the ability to turn off mouse acceleration.

i still think i will like higher dpi because i seem to like extremely high sensitivity and i also think i like the form factor of the deathadder more than my current mouse

Right before I bought my Deathadder. I can't say how it helped me in Starcraft, because I didn't play back then, but it felt awesome to go from the MX310 to an actual gaming grade mouse. It'll do you just fine 
I switched to the G500 after I got a monster deal on it and all of the aim heavy players I knew in former games used Logitech G series mice, figured I might take a shot at them.Last edit: 2011-01-27 13:39:08 |
