[Maplestory Hardcore] Let's Play~!!

If you are new to MS, the game is a 2D platformer/sidescrolling class-based MMORPG. Like all MMOs, quests, grinding, bossing, and leveling up form the core components of the game, though features like an active free market (FM), cash shop, and of course the people you play with also feature prominently. Check out the videos or screenshots we have here at the bottom of this post, or just youtube it yourself to get a feel for what the game is like.

If you have not played MS in the past 3+ years, know that the game has changed a lot. The most important thing you need to know is that the old EXP curve, which used to be insane amounts of grinding, has been reduced by up to 90%. It is now fairly easy to level to 100 (fourth job) with just a moderate amount of activity.

We currently have three guilds for TL Maplestory: TeamLiquid, Liquid_D, and Team8. All three are linked by alliance and are essentially the same.

To join us, you must do all of the following:
1) read the rest of the OP (especially Kyuukyuu's MS101 under Useful Resources / Self-Help)
2) post your IGN in the thread
3) whisper a Jr. Master in-game

However, realize that if you register for the site just to join our MS guild, we can tell via post count + join date and we retain the right to refuse anything and everything. We do expect you to love e-sports and to be an active and contributing member in the TL forums as well. For this reason, we will generally accept new members with 250+ posts and 3+ months of activity on TL. Exceptions apply if directly referred by an existing member.
