I played starcraft for 10 years and I can tell you that I actually CAN survive listening to a cast in which I'm not spammed with the oh so important game knowledge and in fact do sometimes prefer a caster who simply is excited even if his knowledge is not the best.

Hey Khaldor, really awesome stream!
I am German and have mostly avoided German streams (and also German versions of games for that matter) - I am not entirely sure why I don't like most other German casts, as in, if it's the casters or the language, but I checked your stream because the GLHF was so bad.
Bottom line is, it was awesome! Really good job! Guess you're totally impressed by how many people who hardly understand German or do not at all love your stream, I guess that tells the story
Keep it up!
You saved this event for me and many others...

I think the problem Khaldor will face when casting in english is, that he uses a lot of german slang words, that won't really translate into english well. His english is stellar, but i think, if you are used to streaming in german it might be hard to take the energy in casting over to casting in english.
I really enjoy your cast Khaldor! Normally i don't listen to german casts, but yours is just a lot of fun! With great game analysis as well! |

Khaldor, you don't have to have played BW since its release to take it up. I started playing that amazing game in like 2006. Give it a try! Watching OSL/MSL/PL live (especially important games like the finals) is an experience unlike anything else. ^________^
And as someone mentioned, your casting is similar to the Korean commentators, hehe.
