That zilean guide is pretty meh, I don't agree with his setup for a support champ (no wards in start inv is usually fail) and runes are meh. Zilean doesn't strike me as one of the best support champs, but he does it okay. Never played with or vs him solo top. >_< |

dorans ring->hog boots->sunfire->sorc shoes or merc treads->more relevant tank items (e.g. banshees, fon, randiuns, frozen heart)
Dorans shield if you think it will be boring lane like vs a tank that you have no hope of killing, shield prob best in dual lane too.
Skip early hog if you have enough money when you go shopping for belt. Sorc shoes best for more burst, but sometimes you have to have merc treads (against heroes like morg, rammus). |

It doesn't matter how little i do yo, fact of the matter is that all three lanes were underfarmed as a result of my constant roaming, and our solos were strong enough so that my 1 stun is enough to completely wreck them |

| I will never understand why people are so fixated with the current "metagame" and fail to see how it's relevant for anyone. I hear all this EU is more about small skirmishes and US is about teamfights and have no idea how people can blankly make a statement like this and have anything logical to back it up. The only metagame I witness is retards getting caught in solo ranked. Hell I've even seen "top level" tourney games from both servers and they seem to follow this metagame too. |
