Something which I believe you should know.
My guess is it will still be lighter than my X8 since its smaller and my X8 has a battery in it anyways, and a AA weighs something like 25g itself. From ive looked up the X8 with the battery is at 144 g, while the G9x, with the grip and no optional weights added is 110g or so, if someone can correct me tho, please do, harder to find the exact weight of both mice than i thought. So if the info i gathered is correct, weight will not be an issue, hell, itel even be lighter than my current mouse! awesome! thanks for the input regardless. |

| I have been using Logitech products almost since I started playing more and more on PC, in 2006, G5 and MX518 so far. Now I've been cycling through Razers products and I am just not sure what to pick. I play mainly LoL, SC2, BF3 and will be playing GW2&D3 when they come out. Any suggestions? I don't need many "extra macro buttons" as like in Razer Naga. TY ps. also if you could recommend some 70-90€ mechanical keyboard^^ |

| Actually the X8 is weighted at 162 grams (according to the datasheet), where the G9x is either 88/157/156g depending on the grip, or no grip with 88g, so they are actually fairly close in weight. |

| I use a G9. It has customizable weights and speeds at the tip of your fingers very comfortable with 2 alternative grips. |

Deathadder as your mouse, seconded. It's very hard to beat in terms of quality and comfortability in the range that you want.
I use it, it's great. |

So I've been using the most basic of all Dell Mice for years now. But after buying a Steelseries QcK pad, I just now realized how terrible the mouse is for gaming. Pretty slow realization, I know...
I looked into the Razer Salmosa a long time ago and recently was pretty certain I wanted to get the Steelseries Kinzu v2 Pro Edition, but now I'm not sure of anything...
Does anyone have recommendations for a fingertip SC2 and palm FPS player? |

Looking awesome as usual wo1fwood.
I'll update tomorrow, I'm also going to try to make progress on my purchasing guide. Sorry for being so lazy everyone, too many distractions lately

Been using G9x for about 2 months and 10 days now, after getting it recommended by you guys (TT1 being one of them!). It is one of the mouses that have singlehandedly changed my computer experience. Loving every bit of it. I had to get the MW3 edition, which made me sad (stupid norwegian stores), but loving the grips anyway. No grip and "comfort grip" are awesome, with the last one lagging a bit behind. Setpoint is total shit, but I'm handling it fine. Doesn't show the mouse and all that jazz.
Anyone know how I can fix that? The last times it showed it was after a reinstall, and to be honest, I don't want to install it every time I want to change a setting. |

Okay, OP's been given a bit of a facelift. New Banner (this one actually fits TL's new size, lol I'm totally on top of things) new section headers, and I'm trying to condense things a bit. Still need to clean things up a bit more, but let me know what you guys think of it and if you have any suggestions.
I'm starting on cleaning up/updating/fixing content as well.
Great use of an entire Saturday night XD |

On March 08 2012 18:35 Chuiu wrote:Hey I'm looking to buy a new mouse and need some feedback from anyone who owns a Naga. I'm going to be primarily using it for buttons 5-0 and I need to know if anyone has any problem hitting the buttons in the middle row or if anyone else uses the mouse for specifically the same buttons (I would be using 1-4 on my keyboard and the rest on my mouse to, hopefully, improve reaction times). Would appreciate some feedback because I'm considering getting the Naga Hex instead: ![[image loading]](http://i.imgur.com/sEGlV.jpg) Which as you can see, would be perfect for just using the last six buttons. I would, however, prefer getting the vanilla Naga if at all possible in case I want to utilize 1-4 for some other functionality. I would also be interested to hear from anyone with a Hex on the subject. And finally if you have any feedback on how easy/hard it is to hit the buttons I would love to know that as well. I would go to a store and try this all out for myself but none of them have one out on display. Again, I appreciate any feedback! Extra: I currently use an Abyssus and believe that simplicity is the best way to go with peripherals (own a Ducky brown switch keyboard also). I never would have considered buying a mouse with extra buttons if it weren't for the fact I find myself clicking 5-0 on my screen instead of on the keyboard more often than not.
Naga > Hex, for the pure reason that Naga's number pad is more intuitive and easy to figure out. also it's auto rigged to be a number pad.so no additional settings are required. Naga is small though, It's not for those with big hands, and which is the number 1 reason 1 got it. a Naga is at least 1-2 sizes smaller than your average mouse.
Also Hex's key dial is 123654 WHY?!??!?!? WHY 123-654 and not 123456, you would expect it to go the full way right? /rage, Naga-best mouse ever. Last edit: 2012-04-01 19:01:37 |
