we need a higher player/game ratio, especially with so many people bailing due to holidays and what not.

| I am expecting my roster to fill up gradually after one of the current large roster games kick off. My only concern is that the most of site's veterans might just end up being nabbed toward HP and Pokemafia, but that is an unfortunate sacrifice needed for more focused gameplay among individuals, methinks. |

jcarlsoniv and I will be hosting a Normal 30 player semi-open setup game. The focus of this game will be analysis of behaviour.
Please add us to the queue. Based on what I can see in the OP this is Mafia XXXVI.

I'm willing to give tl mafia a taste of mafia from elsewhere on the interwebs.
I realise I'm a new guy here, and pretty new to TL in general, so some recent examples of my larger game hosting:
The Riftwar 43 player game, ended with a draw.
The Fight for Inishmore! 32 player game, ended with town victory.
The Revenge of Inishmore! 39 player game ending in a cult victory.

Me and Kingjames are going to test our BR (battle royale) setup with 15 people. It is not a traditional mafia game in fact we may even just do it in S&G rather than mafia. There is no voting or anything like that.
I would list it for now as a themed mini mafia, scrap mario mini mafia. I'll host a standard F11/C9 type mini mafia (maybe with RoL since we talked about this) for direct player coaching. Something like a team set-up where it's all brand new players paired up with an experienced player who helps them and gives them advice.
So we're gonna test the BR game. The real game will likely have 30-42 players and be based more directly on the movie. Thanks.
I'd like to test it in either january or early feb. and then hopefully the real game will follow just a few weeks after that. |

I am very excited about what we have prepared for this game already.
The game will challenge your ability to strategize, cooperate, lie, analyze and survive. These are all things that Mafia players should be familiar with... =)
A typical game will be fast-paced and action-packed. Players are not eliminated via coordinated lynch voting but by direct choices made by individuals.
We hope to have very robust and easily extendable core game engine. The design philosophy takes into account the necessity for an ability to raise the skill ceiling.
Please keep your eyes peeled for this when the test game goes live. We welcome the feedback!

I lost the entire setup when my hard drive broke. Even if I had it, I would have definitely made a lot more adjustments anyway- it was my first attempt and I remember it had lot of holes. Since theirs are two person coop project, I expect much greater things to come. |
