Just getting this in here for some time in the far far future.
I'm not asking to be on the queue, especially since it's on lock down at the moment. I'm just posting to have the entry in here so I won't forget. I have no problem with people putting up their games as a post even if the queue is full. It helps in case people go mia and allows me to see who has the time/willpower to be hosting.
I am usually good about reminding people in advanced that their game will be up soon so that they can get their setup balanced and straightened out. The earlier you get your game ready the better, but I don't have a problem of a person getting on the queue even if their game isn't ready. |

I'd normally argue that oversaturation of open games will hardly help to alleviate the player shortage problem... but then it's a Caller game  Mods should really set a definite deadline or player roster so people have some idea on when the game is going to begin. |

Isn´t it normal to have 2 games active at a time? With the newbie game only taking from a small part of the player-base, you would think Callers game would be at 30 players and started allready, but it´s at about 10-12 signed up. I think there could be room for another minigame. |

No, there isn't room. The fact that Caller's game isn't full is proof of that. Usually we have 2 games active at a time, but in the past 2 months games would take forever to start (3 weeks). Even if we opened up another game, the game would not fill up without people /out'ing of Caller's game. The situation that would result is we have Caller's game and the new game both half-full with nobody else to join.
I am interested in the idea of having deadlines for game. Hosts should also be flexible with decreasing the player requirements for their setups. Else if not enough players join a game we'd have to shut the game down and have someone else put up their game. |

I think it's possible there is room for a normal mini-game for vets(or anyone). It feels like a rarity these days to see a normal mini that is not just for new players.
Right now I have no interest in a large game, but would probably join a mini in a heartbeat. I imagine there are other players as well who have the time for a mini, but don't have the time(or motivation) for a larger set-up.
It's very possible I am wrong though, and there isn't a niche group of mini-game players just lurking for their chance to play. |
