| What do you think of running more games concurrently? It seems like we've had a pretty big influx of new players recently, and we could reflect this in running more games at the same time. |

We don't have that many players. I don't think we could fill too many more games without people playing in several at the same time. |

I did forget to mention this in my previous post, but every so often (haven't decided yet) I will do some reevaluation of the hosting list and potentially kick people off or put them on probation as you said (haven't quite decided how this will work either). I already keep a chunky notepad document of all the bad things hosts have done so it won't be a problem at all.
I'm implementing this system because it's independent of how the queue system works. So even if we radically change the queue to something else none of this will have to change. |

I've heard the whispers in the shadows. TL_Mafia is gaining territory, our heroes have proven themselves time and again in the battles for the sidebar and recognition. All around Liquid City tales are beeing told and the word is spreading. As a result new faces are appearing every day eager to enlist, saddened to find TL_Mafia unable to make use of them.
I would like to co-host a newbie game and I am looking for an experience host to do this with me. |

To reiterate a previous post, we will put a newbie game once the holiday season is over. risk.nuke can cohost with whoever volunteers to take up the job. |

It is important for us to continually welcome and integrate new players into our "scene", and one of the ways to do it is by running games primarily intended for newcomers. Newcomer games should be a high priority, and I would even go as far as to say that there should always be one running or in signups, and take priority over all other types of games.
In particular, inexperienced mafia are really easy to catch by good players if they make their debut in games not set aside for newcomers.Last edit: 2012-01-01 00:57:36 |

Okay, greymist has to go ahead to post his newbie game (which will be for ~15 players). flamewheel will be reviving TL Mafia L and that will start.
We will then have iGrok and RebirthofLegend post their games. Then I will take a cattle prod to the people who are on the Normal queue (i.e. BC) |

Given the rate these keep filling up I think it's just best we add a separate section to the queue for newbie games. In the event that we start running out of newbies we can put out advertisements and recruit more as we've done in the past. |
