| Buying special edition, the multiplayer is WAY too good to pirate it. |

This is the first game I've ever felt I should boycott that I just can't. I feel really bad for it, but I'm just too invested in the series to not know the ending. EA sucks but it's ME3. |

Is origin bad or something? Care to elaborate on that? Origin as far as I have been able to poke around with is basically steam (I don't have any games on it yet), or is it that for multiplayer it's rather buggy...(also as far as I know you only need to be connected to use origin when you activate ME3 the first time and then can be 'offline' for the rest of the time).Last edit: 2012-02-26 22:05:27 |

| Knowing Clint Mansell is doing the soundtrack is a good enough reason for me to buy it. I dont care how this game turns out. |

well at the start Origins EULA was pretty invasive. It pretty much allowed Origin to scan your whole computer and send everything to EA so they can sell it to third party companies. Most of those issues seem to be taken care of now but based on my BF3 experience Origin is still pretty shitty because in BF3 they made no ingame lobby but instead you get forced to do everything through your web browser and there seem to be some weird bugs like headsets not working etc based on what some people posted here and in other threads.Last edit: 2012-02-26 22:33:25 |

Steam used to be really buggy and poor a couple years ago but they managed to fix it up and now it's excellent.
I haven't use Origin much and I've never been anal about TOS etc, but it just doesn't seem as streamlined as Steam is right now. |

MULTIPLAYER Y U SO BUGGY is all bad I can say about the demo. They improved controls (except that maybe too many things are binded on spacebar, but its usage is very intuitive), the single player seems on the line of ME2, and I enjoyed it very much, and multiplayer is very well done and challenging, except for the bugs. Using biotic powers is fucking awesome. However classes need balance: Asari adept is IMBALast edit: 2012-02-26 23:14:58 |

For me I think it's part of its strength. It's fairly simplistic in design, it doesn't try to incorporate pvp or complicated scenarios. It's quick and it's fun. It's also pretty spot on with difficulty. Even bronze level will kill bads, and gold requires some pretty solid teamwork.

I completed ME1 and 2 both in like 3 days the last week with 35h played including all DLCs. I heard so much about these games but whenever I watched some videos on youtube it was all boring combat. The combat system has its flaws but story is just so well done. I really hope that some crew members from part two make it in the last game. I want them all to survive. |

| I was actually quite pleasantly surprised with the multi-player. I thought it was going to be your standard death match type shooter but it is a pretty relaxing (bronze) and exciting (higher) experience. This really suits the series more than most shooter multi-player types. Genuinely impressed, save the bugs and shit. |

| I've already got my CE reserved (can't miss out on Clint Mansell's soundtrack), but I'll probably download it as well just to get dlcs for free. I really hate paying £7~10 for like an hour of gameplay. I wish developers just went back to good old fashioned expansion models. |

I live on Chile and im a student, so money and games disponibility sometimes is not what you would like it to be :D (some titles dont even get here in numbers so getting them can be hard, and i dont live on a village nor wear fur nor light a firplace to cook) I downloaded Mass effect 1 a couple months ago (8 months?) and had a blast playing it... i must admit i hated and still hate the mako... it was fun.. for the first 20 planets... but i got caught with the story, the deepness of the characters, the relationships you can "build" with your crew, etc. all the decisions and the problems feel very human and i cant help to feel involved with the story. Downloaded Mass effect 2... yeah im a little bugglar i know it.. Awesome game.. the combat was so much more fun and it all felt more dynamic. i missed my old crew though but having joker around, tali and doc made things better for me.. omg i forgot about garrus!! Played the 2nd version with all the DLC so i was very happy to get to chat and develop a relationship with Liara as it was my ME1 love interest. (best DLC ever btw)
Now... with ME3.. I guess i could download it, but i really like the multiplayer experience, and well ive payed for games like starcraft and some other one im too ashamed of saying them names :D I dont know about origin, but whatever it is, the issues i might come across while using it, the develops could fix it. Anyway, im totally going to make the effort and buy it just because i really like the series so far and its something i would like to have, like buying dvds of your favorite band or whatever. That said, i would love to get the first 2 games also, but for now ill have to be satiesfied with ME3 :D |

Pretty much everything bioware went down for a few hours but it all seems to be coming back online again now. Can't comment on ME3, but neither the bioware sites, nor ME2 were working for a long while either. |
