I had considered skipping out, but now I am definitely buying as well.

So, This is the season that already passed? GSL3 for the VODs is 9.95$? or newer season tickets too?
Pretty cool news imo

"VODs include ads"
An elegant solution I'd say. I would definitely sit through the 15/30 sec ads to watch my GSL VODs. The fact they can actually pull a sponsor for the VODs is encouraging in itself.
I am actually so excited, just from watching the new trailer. The new logo is pretty sexy as well, if slightly reminiscent of the current OSL/MSL ones.

might be a n00b question.. but what is a "sponsorship league"???

I almost bought a ticket.. then they present you with a warning about their coverage... and then I remembered their support for EU

Are the VODs not the main point of the whole package? Or does the scheduling work out so that that you can watch it live normally (like not getting up at 2am like I did in Vancouver?)
|
Pretty awesome that they lowered the price...
|
Hopefully they just have an ad or two at the start of the video and don't interrupt the game with ads. But $10 is well worth it even if they do something like that.
I am fucking excited for this to start!

I am still unsure as to whether the Code A matches will have English commentary. Can anyone confirm?
|
Why is it called sponsorship league? Didn't they get a sponsor?

'Internet connection to GOMtv.net from your computer : 788Kbps'
Is this good enough for live? Also this is far far below my internet speed. Why is that?

Well normally the league has a name associated like "Sony erricson gsl season X" but it doesn't appear like they have a sponser yet. Maybe they don't plan on getting one? Not sure.
Yeah $9.95 for the new season. The ads will probably be played during the breaks when they normally show nothing anyway, so that's fine by me. Maybe we will get "put a fork in those buns" ads. lol.
|
I'd rather pay $14.99 like last season and not have to deal with ads than pay $9.99 and have ads. That's kinda BS that they have a pay to watch service with ads... It should be like just about every other pay to watch site free LQ with ads and pay to watch HQ with no ads.
