Have to say on 16 player the new maps are pretty fun, anything above that and you get people spawning on you almost which is crazy. However it does introduce some interesting choices, main one being, when do you reload? 5 bullets left, running around a corner... hmm!
I've tried most of the new guns out, the new PDW is terrible. It's similar to the MP7, to the point where i don't know the difference between them. Does seem CQ maps are made for hip fire, hence the mass of people using shotguns or P90.
Overall its fun, but imo nothing beats the B2K maps. |

Close Quarters and especially Gun Master really do not feel like BF at all but I guess thats the point, the weapon loadouts are so random and dying when the game switches your weapon mid firefight sucks. Guess it takes time to adapt to this.
Haven't quite figured the ideal player numbers for this yet either. 64 is obviously utterly ridiculous and I regret the two minutes I spent in it, in 32 you still get shot in the back a bit too much and in 16 I sometimes find myself sprinting around not finding anything to kill for a while. Need to try 24 I guess if it exists/theres servers running
Holding a position in Domination seemed like decent fun to me in small dozes, till you get shot in the back. In the couple matches I played I couldn't figure out whats different to normal Conquest other than really fast flag caps and less flags?
Can't see myself playing this too much, give Armored Kill. |

Random spawn...? ^^ In Conquest you have fixed spawns for each side and can spawn on captured flags. |

Ah right thats it thanks, like I said I played couple matches and just didn't realise it after not touching the game for a while due to D3.
It did seem like I spawned right next to enemy flag sometimes which seemed weird and this explains a lot of the getting shot in the back scenarios as well. |

Well after one day I have no further interest in playing any of these maps or game modes. Gun Master is terrible compared to CS gun game, the conquest domination is a lesson in futility as people just constantly spawn behind each other. The destruction is nothing like the trailers claimed it would be, not that I was playing for that but it just seems like a blatant lie at this point. Even on 64 player servers you don't see much destruction.
I can't believe they didn't include some type of rush mode for these maps. I feel like they did the bare minimum to copy CoDs domination mode and called it a day. I'm not at all opposed to small maps and infantry only combat, but this is just shit. |

| Honestly though, when we were still running our server we had an autokicker in place for countries that were far away from the servers location to generally avoid having people on with a high ping. That was since there were no tools to simply kick for a high ping outside of manually watching it and issuing the command yourself. It did screw over some people and I'm not saying that's the reason, but simply that it could be related. |

It is what you make it. I don't stop moving on Conquest Domination. I just move from flag to flag, to flag. If you suck, you will probablly get hung up, and frustrated by campers. If you don't its a blast; all in all the maps are very fluid, and fun to play. |

Well in CQC, I like the F2k > M16.
But the versatility of the M16 is something I find myself wanting more often.
I really should get back to playing. My slowly-improving FPS skills have probably been blasted back to the stone age with my weeks of not playing. |

I can't for my life trade longer range engagement ability for slightly enhanced CQC. It goes against my principle of playing, in that I want to rely on simply being better to allow for me to be able to engage at all ranges effectively. Probably why I find shotguns a disgusting concept in FPS games.
Can't say I've had any epiphanies regarding any guns lately. They feel like they did after the april change, not much else. Don't have premium so those I can't argue with. |

F2K is fantastic with a foregrip and supressor, really lowers the recoil down and makes it pretty sweet.
I have to say I'm enjoying running round on CQ with the JNG-90, ironsights, laser sight and a straight pull bolt. Love to see people with shotguns rage. However I get tired of the maps pretty quick. Wish there were more hardcore servers that rotate a lot of different maps. |

So, anyone in Eu playign actively? I'd love to find some friends to play with as all my RL friends are stuck in D3. I play alot, pretty much everyday a couple of hours but it's getting a bit stale not being on vent or TS with some bros and shoot stuff.
