Well evidence are above speculation status only imo , heres few
The codename for the Halo MMO that was being worked on years ago but never got anywhere, was Titan, by Ensemble Studios.
- Greg "Ghostcrawler" Street, big time guy at Blizzard, used to work for Ensemble Studios before coming Blizzard.
- Activision and Bungle have a 10 year agreement, so theres still games to be made there, or at least with the IP. Activison now owns Blizzard, currently.
- In Feburary of 2007, Thirty Rock Season 1 Episode 15 "Hard Ball", the credits had "Promotional consideration furnished by Blizzard Entertainment.". The interesting part? No where in this episode was there any dialog or footage of Diablo, Starcraft or Warcraft. The only game that had footage shown? Halo.
- One of the jobs listed by Blizzards HR department (most likely direct towards Titan) is them looking for a "Science Fiction Texture Artist". That could relate to something Starcraft related but it also could be Halo related too.
- When Blizzard starting hiring staff for Titan, hiring began in 2007, around the same time as the previously mentioned episode of Thirty Rock.

Just no. To start with Microsoft owns the rights to Halo, not Blizzard, Activision, or Bungie. Titan is a very generic codename and you really shouldn't put much thought into it. Also Blizzard has stated several times that "Titan" is a completely new IP. So no Halo, no World of Starcraft, or WoW 2.
Based on rumors and the people they have hired, it is a Scifi shooter, though whether it is a FPS or TPS remains unknown.

I sware there was a thread yesterday about the same thing. use the search function!

Multiple companies can have the right for an ip in different releases or platforms - see fallout .
blizzard has the money to buy any ip they like.
New ip for blizzard can be halo , that only means that is a sci fi and not SC
for me evidence is pretty obvious
soz if it was another thread

Yeah it cant be halo since they said its a completely new IP.

Microsoft does not own the rights to Bungie. Bungie is now separate from Microsoft

You should probably do some research before boldly posting, that you apparently know about it.

Anyways, It's all pointless speculation and whilst OP contains some intriguing points, it could all be hogwash. Let's just wait for the official announcement instead of wasting our time trying to guess what it is.

Yea itsa just speculation but intriguing imo
anyway one last clue
Jeffrey Kaplan when was asked in an interview right after he moved on form wow to the next gen mmo , if it was sc fi - near future - post apocalyptic or historical and replied all of these combined which is ... Halo

On topic
Unless there's a joint adventure which makes no sense on Blizzard's part, Titan is just generic.

New IP(Intellectual property) means its a completely new game and cant have anything to do with halo. Dosent matter if its new to blizzard.
