| what actually am I supposed to do in mid game as terran vs zerg? I mean, early game a bit harass etc. But midgame? I mean when you have a factory and starport and start doing tanks/medics. I hope im not pulling a "omg I cant keybind alt+f4" here, but I really dont know whats going on
Starting to use positional hotkeys. Want to have Ctrl+f1-4 to create it and jump to them using f1-4. This works great for f2 and f4 but I I cant create positions with ctrl+f1 or ctrl+f3? If I set it up like this: Create Position 1: Ctrl+f5, Jump to Position 1: f1 then it works, so my f1 key isnt broken. What am I doing wrong?

No, they both have range 6 IIRC. Phoenix can still do hit-and-runs, because they're so much faster. Just be careful about infestors and spores. |

Hey how about
changing warpgates to normal gates
if you harras with a warpprism, because you can macro behind it without looking, just like a Terran.
Turning from Gateway into Warpgate takes 10 Seconds. If you Forcefield the Ramp (2 Base Prism Play) you have enough time to change it back and warp-in.
Good strategy for all the mass apm fans, isn´t it?  |

No I am not trolling, I mean how many times have we seen a Protoss have 1000-1500 Minerals after Warpprism harras.
€: If you micro your colossi/immortal drop you don´t wanna look into your main - or you just don´t give a fuck and have to many minerals. As I said, only talking about 2 Base-All in´s.

What good are units at home? Also, I believe you can't transofrm back to regular gateway until it's off cooldown, so really...you're getting less production out of your gateways doing this. |

Early game harass with hellions, use them to stop creep spread, scout army comp and 3rd base.
Then push with your first medivacs, next ones rallied to the front. You should already be on 2 bases, so take a 3rd at the same time. Scan just before you go and stim a couple of marines forward. No army? Push forward, kill the 3rd then either try for the win or pull back, expand and win later. Lots of units waiting? Run home and try for drop harass instead
If you have tanks then do a slow seige from the edge of creep moving a few tanks at a time, destroy creep as you go and keep reinforcing. Again expand behind it, and make sure you're prepared for a muta counter attack |

If you are using a warp prism to harass, you will want to have your warpgates stay as warpgates for the potential to warp in units in his base if his army isn't there. If you drop a single colossus or something in his base, that colossus won't have very much support vs 3-4 marauders in the next terran production cycle. If you had say a colossus and 2-3 zealots help. He might have to bring back a more sizeable part of his army to come deal with it.
Another thing is if he has vikings, you need to be able to warp in stalkers with your warp prism to help protect your prism/colossus from getting killed.
I don't think there is any reason ever to change warpgates back into gateways after they transform. |

Something weird is happening with my sc2.
Whenever I start the game up I'll get the update page, and i'll press the PLAY button. SC2 loads up, and then when I get to the login screen it will revert back to the update page.
I cant play and its really bugging me, anyone have any ideas? |

1) What's a good, simple build to get started as zerg? Mainly looking at timings, like, when to get lair etc.
2) Is an accurate way to get your win/loss by getting games played this season and taking away the wins in the ladder tab for your losses. Or would It be total games in career? |
