Kings of Tin is a show that Wacksteven and myself stream as we play team games with the audience and other celebrities from the Starcraft 2 scene. The name of the game is fun, and we try to keep things interesting by using our tin-level skill to come up with creative ideas to win, and often use our celebrity guests as a crutch. Whether it's an OVERLORD ASSISTED NUKE, or the RISE of Murray the Mutalisk our goal is to feature pro's in a casual and energetic environment where FUN and ENTERTAINMENT is the main attraction!
djWHEAT and wacksteven have been friends for a long time. We brought that friendship into the Starcraft II beta where we started playing a lot of 1v1's vs each other and eventually tried playing some 2v2's and found that we had a lot of fun playing as a team, even though we are horrendous.
Wacksteven posed the idea of having a tournament to showcase some of the lower level players and maybe give them a chance to learn something in the process. We decided to start streaming some of our team games and found out that a lot of people enjoy watching us play horribly.
Everyone wanted to play versus us on the stream to beat us into the ground, including some high level players and other celebrities from the scene. We decided to make a show out of it and invite pro players and celebrities to just play some fun team games for the night, letting them get away from their daily grind.

djWHEAT - ZERG - djWHEAT has been involved with eSports since 1996 when he began competing in Quake 1 and eventually Quake 2. After a successful Quake 3 career with Clan519, he shifted his focus from playing to "broadcasting" and by 2002 he was traveling around the world covering major events like QuakeCon, and WCG. He's been a big supporter of Pro-Gaming ever since, and has introduced some of the industries most well known commentators through Radio iTG including Tasteless, TosspoT, and ReDeYe. Hosting 3 to 4 shows a week, djWHEAT continues to spread his love for the game through shows such as the eSports heavy Live On Three, and the StarCraft 2 centric, Weapon of Choice.
wacksteven - PROTOSS - wacksteven is an old school shoutcaster from Warcraft III, where he had the privelege of working with TsN and Radio iTG with djWHEAT and many other talented broadcasters. In 2003 he traveled to Korea to cast Warcraft 3 and Brood War at the World Cyber Games, following up in 2004 and 2005 and doing lots of smaller tournaments. After becoming addicted to World of Warcraft and making a WoW show called Out of Mana, he gave up commentating for a while, focusing on work. He has since returned with Kings of Tin and djWHEAT to bring his charisma and ridiculously horrible play to the Starcraft II scene.+ Show Spoiler +

LOL why are your surprised? Think the Gracken doesn't like to have a little fun? :D
It more has to do with how big of a name he is, especially compared to every other guest you've had. Catz was the strongest guest player to date and he, let's be honest, doesn't even come close to the level IdrA plays at.

Then I think you might be surprised at the upcoming "cast" list for Kings of Tin, because we've been receiving alot of interest from pro gamers from the low to the highest tier!
Go figure... our pros want to have some fun ^_^
