Found this link on Torch's twitter and didn't see it anywhere on TL, so I figured I'd repost and link for anyone who hasn't seen it.
Torch got a video recording of Artosis playing his qualification matches for GSL code A and did an audio commentary with VTLaneir.
Here's the link to the VTGaming page: http://vtgaming.net/news/artosis-gsl-qualifier/

Oh nice find if isn't posted anywhere. First time I'm seeing Artosis playing toss. Wonder how he plays, watching now.

Great interview anyways!

That was a LOT of Thors!
Really interesting though, thanks for linking it. Shame Artosis didn't make it through, but a more than respectable performance given the amount of time he actually has to practice.

wow sweet! never seen him as toss.
|
I really enjoy the informative and calm commentating from Torch
Has the new code A commentators been made official yet? Would love it to be Torch
|
it somehow looks really weird when he is playing with his long extremities. like a giant hydralisk playing toss :D

Not official yet, but in case you hadn't heard Torch dropped a pretty major hint that he would be casting code A. It was on carefoot's A prelim stream where he asked him if he wanted to say hi to teamliquid and Torch said that he would be saying hi to TL a bunch in the next few months.

haha awesome, watching this right now

Yeah, liked Torch's commentary in this. Would not have a problem seeing him commentate Code A, also I love Tastosis and hope they commentate as much as they can. I just hope Carefoot doesn't get the gig, that would be annyoing as hell (he said he applied for it).
Too bad Artosis didn't make it anymore since season 1. Those were a lot of Thors, holy check. Now we are all waiting for the "is Thor imbalanced?"-show ^^

I'd like to see torch and artosis commentate...I'm sorry but tasteless offers little insight and just rides artosis for Code S casts. There are many times I wish Tasteless would just shutup and let Artosis finish making his point.
truth hurts.
I like tasteless though.

Unless Artosis has a 2nd account on KR server (which seems unlikely given the ID requirements) then you can look up his ID pretty easily, and you can see he really doesnt play much at all. [If you cant be bothered to go look, seems like he plays 3-5 games a day normally, all ladder, no custom]
Pretty interesting mouse style, rarely seen a player with such large mouse movement.
|
he's lucky to get 5 hours of gaming in with all he does for GOM.
|
wow t.t that game on metalopolis was definitely him. ifeel like he could have been more aggressive right as his 3rd got up and he defended that first inital attack and kill him before he rebuilt 20 thors..
gg's tho

I would Like to see Torch and Idra cast Code A
|
I dont know why but watching artosis play protoss suddenly made me want to go back and play ladder (just had a bad loss streak so have been put off it).
ps: torch says "artosis can see something been researched by the techlab" i thought the techlab done animations regardless of researching or not? could someone clarify this for me as it might help me make smarter decisions ingame ^^

IdrA said on this week's Kings Of Tin that he would not be casting Code A, and that he had no desire to cast at all.

The techlab either does it's animation when a unit that requiers it is building or when you are researching something at it.
Regarding op: well done, some seriously insightful casting and almost on par with tastosis. If these guys apply for the gsl casting gig they'd definitely get my vote. Also real nice by artosis there after the 3rd map is over and still managing to smile. You'll get em next time artosis!

it takes up too much time. Idra will do it on a spot by spot basis when he's not required to miss practice time to do it. Why would Idra stop being a pro gamer to cast it?
